Vue can open Poser 4 files without any problems. So the transmaps just work fine. Just select Import file and the the Poser file you'd like to import -tadaaaa! I used transmaps on some dragon fly wings in my first image made with Vue called Who are you?.

Just to add my two cents to this topic... I don't have a problem with using stuff for Poser that has been made by others would it be freestuff or commercial. I'm not good with modelling. And I do my pictures just for fun. And I already spend hundreds of bucks for Poser. The only things I don't buy are Poses. I really enjoy making the whole compositing myself, but I don't have the time to do things myself, since my spare time is quite limited. And imho it doesn't matter what you did to get an image done. It's only the result that counts! And I don't think an image shows a lack of creativity if someone uses only models etc. made by others. Creativity is what you make out of it.... Just my two cents, PhilThread: poser 4.03 into vue d'espirit 4 | Forum: Vue

Mac or PC version? If you use the Mac version you might check out [this thread](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=976269), since there a some things you have to be aware of to get the import working. BTW. I just realized that in picture #2 in "SCENE 2 - Troubled Skies" the Emblem of the City of Berlin, Germany is used. Very cool! Was born there. :)

Spratman, just like Walther aka wabe already said. Always make shure that the textures of the objects you'd like to import are not in nested folders. Simply put them into the "Runtime/textures" folder and there you go. After recognizing this issue import with Vue 4.1 worked like a charm on my Mac. Thanks a lot wabe to rely on my last pic for reference purposes! :) Though I have to admit that I did quite some more work on the textures... If you use Poser 4 (not Propack) the bump maps are saved as BUM-files which Vue can't read correctly. So I resaved those as JPEG-files and applied them to the approprite texture. But I have to admit this is way much easier then within Bryce. Looks like Vue finally got me! :) Vue is really worth the money, spratman. Try the demo and you'll understand what I want to say. wolf359, couldn't agree more! I'm running OSX on my Mac since 6 months and I use my OS9 partition for Poser4 only... And I was expecting DAZ would support OSX instead of OSX. So let me join the choir singing "Thaaaaaankyouuuuu DAZZZZZZ." ;) I won't buy P5, since I don't feel very confident with works made using P5 so far. Hair looks like Spaghetti and after reading all those "bug here, bug there"-threads I decided to wait for DAZ's box of miracles. ;) Looks like the right decision to me. I can wait and I hope they take their time to keep on providing mellow products in the quality we're used to. OSX rules! :) Phil

Thanks for the flowers, Claude! An alter isn't really necessary though. It's my pleasure to share some mystic moments with my friends from 'Rosity by telling the stories that go through my mind.
