And it is not his only creation....
Although he defines it still a "work in progress" ( ) and he has uploaded only one image with it, he has created a morph of The Most Beautiful Woman Of All Times (in my opinion, but not only in mine): Audrey Hepburn.
Check the pic.... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1359110
Absolutely amazing.

Link doesn't work
How strange. I have tried it now and it works...
Anyway that version is outdated (just a template). I am writing the new one, but at the same time I am moving (leaving my old house for a bigger one) so I have zero spare time. But I have not forgotten my "duties". ^_^ Just leave me some days and the help will be ready!

Thread: Did e-frontier get the IBL light probe design wrong? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Never understood exactly how Poser manage the image used as a light probe.
Is the center of the image positioned on the TOP of the "sphere" used for calculating the light? But usually the probes I have seen are taken horizontally... for example the one shown in the second post has a wall and a desktop in its center, not a ceiling. Then what?
Directly related: I have read in some tutorials (i.e. "Practical Poser 7", page 69, point 6) that in the case of an IBL, the position of the light indicator is not important. That seems to indicate that the position of the "dome" is fixed. But if I move the indicator around the scene, the preview light DOES change. Is this only a preview matter (meaning that actually in the final render the results are indipendent from the indicator position) or moving the indicator actually turns the "dome", or the "sphere", or what-is-its-name?

*sometimes I also want to do that and the solution is easy...
Yes, it's ok, but this way it's not possible to have a real "thread" like we have here in the forum. My idea was to keep the single rating, but to allow multiple posts.
The other idea was about "versioning". When posting an image, we could be asked if it's a new, original pic or a new version of an existing one. By default the gallery could show only the latest version, but in the image page there could be a row of thumbnails of the previous versions. This way if someone offers a critique and I modify a picture, it would be easy to follow the graphical evolution of the subject. It would be great to learn new techniques, imho.

Please add me, Karen.
My gallery is very small, I am a beginner and I do not upload very often (my average time is around one image per month). But I hope there is at least a bit of graphical evolution in my pictures and I'd like to hear your opinions on my past and future works.
About GIVING critiques, I'll do my best. Obviously I am afraid I will not able to suggest technical solutions (I do not know them myself) but I promise to look at every image with sincerity and curiosity.
BTW, Karen, in the suggestion forum I had proposed two possible improvements for the site: making multiple comments on an image (effectively transforming them in a discussion thread) and the possibility of image versioning. But no one has commented about them, maybe they were no good ideas anyway! ^_^

Thread: Gloves and boots for V4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
But... looking better at the DAZ page... I see the following list of morphs:
V4BikerBoots.cr2
FBMAmazon
FBMBodyBuilder
FBMBulk
FBMDefinition
FBMEmaciated
FBMFitness
FBMHeavy
FBMPearFigure
FBMThin
FBMVoluptuous
FBMYoung
PBMBodysuitFit
PBMCalfFlex
PBMFeetArch
PBMFeetForShoe
PBMShinsThickness
PBMThighsThickness
SCLLegsLength
Plus 100 blank morph channels (PBMCC/PBMDC) so you can add new morphs.
There does not seem to be a morph for heels. Or maybe it's not in the list?

Raven, thank you for the link. I had thought about the Expansion Pack, but in the DAZ promo pictures, these boots seem to have an heel quite high. In your picture, the heel seem much lower. Is just a perspective effect or there is a morph to adjust them?

Thread: NO BSG until 2008! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am sorry, jugoth, but I do not understand fully your quite peculiar language. I have studied English at school and I use for my job but some colorful expressions are a bit hard to understand for me.
Anyway...
BSG is filmed mostly in Vancouver, Canada, so they do not fight "in american streets". The location seems anonymous enough for the casual, or international, viewer. They could be streets of London, Milan, or Tokyo.
The Twelve Colonies are (or were) inhabithed by people of different ethnicity. Battlestar Wiki hosts many topics about their various cultures, and it is very informative: have a look at it. Outscreen, this is reflected by the international cast: Edward James Olmos is Mexican/American, James Callis is British, Grace Park is of Korean descent, Kandyse McClure is from South Africa, and so on.
BSG is a sci-fi show and makes no references to the actual politic situation of the real world, so in my opinion your references about it are a bit forced. If and when Earth will be actually found, we'll see how it will be depicted.
Of course, they all speak and write English in the show . There is a good "inscreen" explaination, obviously, but the natural reason is that this way the audience can understand what is happening. Seems quite logical to me.
So say we all.

Surely in the the SW fandom there is a pseudo-scientific explaination plausible enough for the lightsaber. Anyway the Star Wars universe is not meant to be "heavily scientifically oriented", while a serious Star Trek fan could tell you the exact power in HP of all the Enterprise engines down to the second decimal digit.
(I know because when I was younger I was a trekker myself... now unfortunately I have no more time to spend in conventions...)

BSG does not have a lot of action (yes, maybe a bit more could be useful for audience) but what I really like about it is the level of acting. Edward James Olmos is able to deliver a lot of emotions with just a blink of his eyes, and while I hate Baltar 100% (did I already told you?) I also think that James Callis is doing a GREAT job with such a difficult character.
And do not forget the great use of hand cameras, the special effects so beautiful because almost invisible....
The problem, in my opinion, is the script. The whole New Caprica stop is bad for a story that should have "the search for Earth" as central theme. They need to spice up the whole thing.
