Plus exposing paper with a pinhole camera takes extremely long exposure times. the "speed" of most printing papers is around 6-12 asa/iso, if my memory serves me correctly. If I can find them, i will post some pinhole negative prints I did ALONG time ago.
Thread: Recommendations for 35mm film being asked for now | Forum: Photography
I agree with alpha, If you are looking for black and white film I would go with the kodak t-max 100 (my personal favorite for large format zone work) very nice film to work with. As far as color films the BEST color transparency film is fuji VELVIA iso64 very low grain GREAT color (favors green eg. foliage) Most professional nature photographers use velvia. And ALWAYS, even wlith faster films, use a tripod. (yes there are exceptions) Generally, using a tripod makes me slow down a bit and take my time setting things up. I guarantee that it will help compositions at the very least. f/64 baby.

Wierd..... with color film, flourescent light gives off a sickly green tint. Tungsten lighting gives off a very similar orange tint. I found this to be very strange that a CCD from a digital camera rendered flourescent light as tungsten orange. don't mean to be skeptic, but i still find it hard to believe that this photo was lit with flourescent light. Can someone clear this up for me? Nice photo otherwise. I agree that the composition needs to be cropped more tightly, self-portraits are hard to pull off. Keep at it, and I hope to see more work soon.

don't forget to visit your local art schools and universities. Many artists figure study models can be found by asking those in the know.

I agree...... not a very successful page layout, but very good photos. A very simple layout suggestion..... try to make it(layout) more symetrical. This will give it more balance. Also the text would be better off as colums under each photo. Add the title into the main body of text. This way one could use it like a 2 page magazine spread with the gutter in the middle, no text or image interrupted. Are you making a spread? or just messing aroung learning new things? Keep it up, and send eveeryone a copy when printed : )

Thread: Converting Color To Black & White | Forum: Photography
Try taking the channels of the color RGB(i assume) and cut and pasting them into LAYERS of a new empty document. then use all the goodies like contrast and brightness, opacity, etc. You can get some interesting results. The red channel alone can be altered to resemble an infrared photograph. The blue channel is almost the same results as using orthochromatic film(blue sensitive). Just keep messing around. Very nice photo by the way. I actually like the black and white better, but they are both very well done.
Thread: What is the best Slide Scanner? | Forum: Photography
I know minolta makes one that will scan sizes from APS to Medium format. Probably more than you need but hey, gadgets are cool. I have had past experiece with an older nikon coolscan which was and I bet still is very good. I am fairly biased toward Nikon so I would go with one of the Nikon series. Alpha mentioned a good one. Feel free to pick me up one too ; )

I also had this problem....Instead of trying to load as an object, try to load your pz3 as a lightwave scene.

Thread: The perils of no scanning funds. | Forum: Photography
Thanks. I'm complaining about the fact that i've reached the limit as far as scanning a 35mm negative on an old flatbed scanner w/TPU. Unsharpmask can only do so much.
