when someone ask's...you bet!
but i think it's all in how you say it. you can still be constructive and supporting at the same time, it sometimes can be a juggling (sp?) act though! lol!
i will not troll the galleries and critique, but while trolling if i see something well done i will comment.
what would you want? personally, i don't want peps saying, "ohhh, that's great!" when they really think, "the lighting is sub-par". how else are we to learn as artist's? a comment is just someone else's point of view...nothing more. some really know what they are talking about and some just, well....

ask and you shall receive.
i was honest with my responses...but just view that as another thought. some i liked and some i didn't. in the ones i did like i think the poses and scene setups were good, i liked the framings...though watching an old hitchcock movie will tilt your head to interesting camera angles and possible add even more drama to a great scene.
all in all though i give you a thumbs up, keep up the good work.
regards, ray

thanks for the honest feedback val.
i'm trying to figure out how to say/ask what i am really wanting from this software and i guess it would be can this product have all of the advantages of 3d modeling software (like being able to model something very tightly and also likewise being able to model something loose) but without the headaches of having to learn a very complex program. can i model what i see in my head?
phil, thanks i'll consider it.

follow nomuse's directions, the only thing i would add is this:
i group in my 3d program, borrow a "blank" cr2 and edit, put the cr2 and the obj file together in your runtime:geometries and your runtime:libraries folder.
i've been trying to do the same thing as you for about 3 weeks now and kept having problems, i was adding too many steps from too many tutorials, which ultimately kept things from working. so i just went down and dirty with a simple obj file and a borrowed cr2 until i got it to work...after it worked it turned out to be quite simple in the end.
keep at it!

your picture looks like a stray poly to me...go back into max and delete/correct...if not a stray poly then possibly because you used a cr2 from another pair of shorts, you should try and use a blank figure cr2.
i group all of my stuff in max, and yes by group i mean "group", then export obj, scale down obj, import into poser as obj w/ blank cr2.
good luck.
