Selphie is a character from Final Fantasy VIII an rpg game on PSX. The link never worked for me from the beginning and when I tried to mail DA Rinoa my mail bounced back. Does the download counter count the actual downloads or just the click and the opening of the page, be it an error or not? 'Cause I don't think 854 people managed to get it. And CODY, I wanna be 855!!

I know renapd conformed the Amidala dress and steveshanks also made the victorian dress conformable. They said they had to edit the cr2 file so that's probably the only way to really get it to conform. The victorian dress works great now.

You can tell it load anything basically and it keeps asking esp for people because it asks for each part of the figure separately (i.e. skin, eyes, eyelash,etc.) So either way it will take some time. I usually uncheck all textures and resave it so it won't do that again. This way even if the path to the textures changes you can just apply anything you want.

And one added point, it might be easier to use a b/w pic as the background so you don't get distracted by colour. BTW trying to model anyone in particular?

Woa... ok one at a time Sydd! First familiarize yourself with the files and their extensions. hr2 is hair, pp2 is a prop etc. and know where everything goes so that you will be able to find it. ALWAYS read the readme file that comes with something as there will almost always be information as to how to use it. You don't mention if you have Poser 3 or 4 but if it's 4 remember you have characters that are Poser 3 and their textures are totally different. Make sure you're using a P4 texture on a P4 character. As for the breasts or other body parts, you'll have to experiment. Visit Traveler's Morph World (link on the right) and get yourself all kinds of morphs. But remember it takes time so arm yourself with patience.

My version of 3D Exploration lists VRML (.wrl) as one of its import documents. It's the 1.2Beta version. Just quoting what the program says as I have never tried it. I usually use it to convert .cob, .iob, and .prj files to .obj which seeems to work ok. However, since you know more, could you tell me how I can view or convert max files? Someone mentioned getting a max license, any help would be appreciated.

http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/ Go to the above and get the 3DExploration utility. It will let you convert many types of 3D files into .obj files which are the best for Poser since you can run them through the UVmapper and make texture maps for them as well.
