As a test, try to import your new .obj file into Poser using File/import as if it were a prop. If it has come out of UVmapper correctly, you should see the figure and the correct materials, but you won't be able to pose it because the figure is effectively a prop. If you still can't see it, something went wrong with the UVmapper export. If you can see it (most likely case) the problem lies in how you edited the .cr2. Check that you specified the path correctly.

When you say the hair was messed up, do you mean the mesh or the texture? If the mesh, you do need a patch. Note that small mesh glitches that are almost un-noticeable in Poser are much more visible in Bryce. This can happen when you resize one body part but not the adjacent one.

The number of sites that require you to register for this, that and the other is getting to be a pain. HOW many passwords do I need?

Hmmm ... I didn't think Shirtless Girl was that much less risque ... but if you don't have complaints it must be OK. On the sort of site where Snowstreak appears, I get complaints that she wears too much.

I was just about to start work on one of these myself. Now I don't need to. Excellent timing! Thanks.

No, nothing like that. Because what I did works perfectly if there is only one material on the mesh, and doesn't work if there is more than one material, so it's ONLY the number of materials that is causing the problem.

I have a superheroine character "Snowstreak" (who appears from time to time at Thralldom.org) who looks quite similar - except she's brunette and her costume is even smaller. Her pictures are bigger, though.

Now, I did export from Poser before making the morphed version, exactly as suggested, but it still didn't work. Do you have to export the morphed versions from Poser as well? I didn't try using UVmapper - what stage do you apply it?

The moral, I think, is don't try and monkey with other people's computer setup. How people organise their desktop, start menu, etc is their business. I once bought a program that not only put an icon to the company's web site on the desktop, but it put it back everytime the program ran after I deleted it! I never had anything to do with that company again.
