It's a tougher theme IMO because it involves modelling something specific, not just turning in a nice picture. If a challenge theme were "a cityscape" you can let your imagination run riot. If the theme was "cityscape of San Francisco", then you have to make your picture look recognisably like San Francisco - it doesn't matter that there are any number of possible views. Similarly here, any entry will be judged on "does it look like the actual movie scene?" rather than just "is this good art?".

I've seen similar free tileable textures that could easily be applied to any clothing item with very little work.

Summer is perhaps always going to be a slack time. But also, this is quite a tough theme, and I'm very impressed by the quality of the entries I've seen.

With that last sentiment I agree entirely. The original poster asked for opinions as to what people would most LIKE to have, and I was just giving my personal opinion. Nothing more.

But this mimics photography, not reality. I would prefer to see things the way they look. Of course, you could be very short-sighted ...

Why do people put the nudity flag up for a picture that has no nudity? Next we'll be hearing complaints that her face is nude.

First - characters are best if they come complete. If they need some store item as well it reduces their usefulness. Second - I wouldn't bother including poses or light sets. The interest in Poser is doing these yourself. But accessories - clothing, props - are a definite plus.

Go to 3D commune and look for the Battery Starter kit. It has posable cables that can be used as ropes. It depends a bit on what you want to do with them .

The problem is that Bryce usually sets ambience to black and 100%. You need to map the ambience channel to the texture and set it to a sensible value (depends on the diffusion). Contrary to KenS, you don't have to go through each mesh part. Use Grouper and you can do all parts that share a common texture at once.Thread: Afro Textures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Confusius had a good texture called "Black Beauty" - I'm not sure if it is still available. Dalinise - Do you own the copyright on that recording of Carmina Burana that plays on the intro to your web site? If not, I fear you are committing an offence.

I have exactly the same problem and Wizzard's reply doesn't help. Some hosts simply don't allow access to a file if it is linked directly from another site. Even typing in the URL for the zip into the browser returns a "page not found" error. Now with site software like 3dcommune, no problem. Attach the thumbnail to the URL of an html document on the host site that then links to the file itself. The downloader perusing 3dcommune clicks on the thumb, gets a remote page, and downloads from there. But the Renderosity software doesn't allow you to link a thumb to another page.

Well, it is just so friendly and natural when it comes to setting up scenes, cameras and lights. Even for still life with no landscape elements at all.

Tha faceting doesn't suggest motion. I suspect it reflects export from Poser as a 3ds file instead of an obj, which produces just this effect.
