No, actually, it's a newer one available only on their own site. I bought the JesterCGI Haunted Mansion (aka Haunted House) and was pleased with it, but I Have weakness for old houses, as well as anything halloween. I was really delighted to hear about SAMS3D's plan to produce one also, from a posting here. When it was released a couple of weeks later, I thought it was sell worth the wait. Even more so, now that they've improved it. Check it out, they have a couple of pages of freebees, and a nice selection of commercial offerings at very reasonable prices. (Now,if only someone would post somethig along the line of cloth-draped furniture suited for a haunted house . . .) :) WWW.SAMS3D.COM

Incredible variety! I can see why you want to put them on back-burner for awhile! Wonderful work.

Had a similar problem. Following a tip on this forum, I did a FileFind for FF*.arp files (the materials import plugin files), & found I had a duplicate set in my textures folder with different file dates. Deleted the dupes, leaving just the set in my runtime->plugins folder. Haven't had the problem since. Good Luck!

I think what you're looking for is called transparancy mapping, or transmap for short. A quick trip to the Renderocity Tutorials section, & I found this link http://www.cocs.com/poser/transmap.htm There are likely more there, and at other sites with tutorial links, but this should give you a starting point. Good Luck. Happy rendering! ps, if this helps, post an update of your progress, or even a small pic here, so I know if I was able to help. leather-guy

I bought it, too. There's a superficial. similarity for the same reasons that army recruits tend to look identical. the bald pates. this is compounded by the identical skin-textures. In all actuality, the variety is really startling. I think it's one of the best add-ons for mike I've ever bought. All you have to do is vary the skin texture (or base color), tweak the height &/or physique of each, & add a variety of hair models & colors. Result; a multitude of unique individuals. A well-done product.

Hi Mabfairyqueen! Your site is really lovely. I have DSL, so load times weren't that noticeable. I really like your Lookslike DarkAngel renders. I'd like to get it, but you're right, too many people must be trying at once. When I try, it starts at up to 46k/sec, then trickles slowly down to 2.8K/sec or so, then spontaneously disconnects with about 22 min remaining. I think the files are worth a little frustration. especially since you are kind enough to post such a lovely work for free. I'll hold off, & try again in a couple of days, hopefully demand will have eased off by then. Thanks for posting it! Happy Rendering. leather-guy

Ditto here. Only you can decide if the results were worth the effort you put in, but I can tell you it's definitely a texture that will be wanted by many. Nice Work!

If the DAZ site is up, go there, & check the "Tech Tips" Recent one addressed that very thing! Happy Rendering!
