Thanks for the thought. I've posted a description of the problem in this forum, & tomorrow I'll send it to Curious Labs. They'r eslower than the renderocity forum members, & tend not to read the whole description of the problem before dashing off a response that often only addresses one comment out of a list of many symptoms. (Probably very busy & limited time to respond. They're not a s bad as Symantec support, though. Had a problem with Image not running on my D drive, took them 9 emails over 2-1/2 months with various random & unrelated suggestions, before I got really sharp with them, & one of them actually read my original Complaint. Their response? "Try turning off Image".)

Beautiful, elegant work! Reminds me of the best of Disney's old idealized backgrounds & designs.

Wonderful! Keep 'em coming! I just got Mega Mike yesterday, & have to admit I was disappointed by the lack of documentation. Talk about timing! I just got the VicPwrPak, too. How did I miss the Mega Mountain? It's in my ShopCart now! (I only purch when I've got $100.00+ in the "cart") Thank you again!

Nice buildings, I nearly bought the GenStore, when I noticed it's in 3DS. Since I re-installed P4 & the P4 updates last month (Creative Tech Support advised it to solve a problem), I can't seem to import anything except a very few DXF files. Looking forward to seeing your Haunted House. I've bought a couple, but they're usually just Big, old-style buildings. No attempt to shape or tex-map them to look decrepit or deserted, & as far as having anything like a Lo rez Ghost, skel, traspdoors, secret panels, or any such thing, Fogeddaboudit! Hope yours will start the trend!

Nice Renders, I especially like the second one of Saint Morte. reminds me of Pratchett's character. I bought the DAZ skel, too, & although I don't think much of the teeth, They are a big improvement over the P4 skels with boney ridges. I found a free skel with teetn on one site (URL escapes me), but the teeth looked like they were embedded in blobs of wax. The best thing with the DAZ skel is the head has a couple of morphs for Evil, & Goofy (I think they're called) that adds immensly to it's appeal. FYI, I got an EMail from DAZ they're having a 30% discount sale, might be a good time to buy their skel, for anyone considering it.

Some nice stuff, I really liked the face-morphs for the DAZ skel. Theaks for the headsup.

I've noticed the same thing with many "assortments" of poser characters, but when I've loaded them, with various hair, textures, etc. they become startlingly different. These show a sameness based mainly on idententical bald pates & skin textures, Cap the pic, & either on a printout, or in a post-prod software, scribble in hair, beard, darker skin, etc. - These are really as nice a selection of average guys as I'd want in a scene, given a bit of variety in stature & body types, they'd suit me quite nicely, although I'd probably tweak them a bit to make them a bit asymetrical, diff eye-placement & such. A couple of genuinely Homely blokes would sweeten the selection. Hope they're in my price range :) Nice work.

Thread: Bump maps !! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Excellent work! - Real art in this stuff often lies in making your work invisible in the final render (unoticable). Perhaps you could post 2 shots side-by-side to show what it's like without the bumo map?
