I saw a very attractive girl on the commuter train one morning. My first thought was: "Oh, she's got a great MESH !" :-) And, yeah, I sometimes find myself pondering what morphs would do this and that face! And it is only since I got Stephanie that I know where to look for the "gastrocnemius" (hint: look at her shin). Willy
Thread: IK hurts when I turn it back on??!! Why? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Jaqui, not exactly. When you pose a figure with IK OFF, and afterwards turn IK ON, then the feet stay put in the very position you've put them last. On further movement of the figure the other limbs are distorted. When you have "use limits" on, some VERY STRANGE things can happen. I'd think IGOHIGH had just a combined problem if this kind.

In a severe need to make invisible things visible again, editing the pz3-file might help. In this place, IIRC, you can also check whether there is a reference to a geometry file (or inline geometry) to verify if the missing parts are really still there (uh-oh, I've to go to bed now :) Willy
Thread: Opinions please... A question for my portfolio. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think, it depends ... For what do you need your portfolio? For a job resume? Then I'd prefer the tower pinup, because of it's already stated charms and - because many (not all) beholders like to "see the light", ie. the mood is friendlier. Might be that counts. Another reason: a portfolio should consist of the works you can do most perfect. A girl in a dark room doesn't show very much craftsmanship (hey, on behalf of the artist!!). Your mastery of the lights in the tower pinup shows you can make a presentation - and that's what grafik artist are needed mostly in their day jobs. Willy(my $.02 ;-)

Giving threads a good twisting is fun, isn't it? :-) Uh, Kendra, what about the virgins? Lots of them in your temple, wielding swords?

Well, life is like Poser - sometimes weird, sometimes just loveable. I for my part will enjoy it. Maybe even more with the latest (non-beta-)patch (I had NO BSOD at all and only one three-finger-salute, since the beginning, through all those betas, go figure). I'd like to learn from all y'all, as I'm not that great an artist :) in fact, I'm a rather non-creative guy. But I enjoyed the threads in here since two months ago. Willy

Oh, I forgot, the members of The Sandbox are from countries like: USA, UK, The Netherlands, Canada, Germany (like myself), even California :) We are different in profession, faith and style of living, some are married, some are single, we are men and women, black and white. Our common interest is living a life - and sharing it. Ok, now ;-) Willy

I'm a member of a, well, informal talking group of people called "The Sandbox". We have the following motto: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We, the Sandbox members, hereby declare to: - always give the benefit of the doubt, - never to assume worse than is written, - always make clear when we feel offended, - base our relationship on trust. - circa 3/25/97 The Sandbox Members ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you can see, the group did that more than 5 years back - and it is still running well. Just a thought: Couldn't we in this forum adopt a motto like this? Willy
