Yes, I have java enabled. Like I said, I get an error message stating that the applet won't start. And I'm using Netscape Navigator 3.01 Gold, and before anyone says "You need to update", I don't like Communicator that's why I'm using what I am. Thanks wyrwulf, guess I'll just stick to using ICQ.
Thread: Hey fasttraxx, I found a use for your lightning objects! =) | Forum: Bryce
That's a great pic. ~smile~ Just goes to show that you don't have to put in a ton of objects or do all this fancy stuff to make a good pic (something I need to learn myself I do beleive).

Btw, it's a nice pic, you should convert it and let everyone else see it. I like how it looks like the moon is rising out of the sea.

Tempest, The problem is, if I remember correctly, that you have to use a .jpg file if you are uploading something. You can't upload a .bmp file and have it show on the page. From now on just convert your .bmp files to .jpg files before posting them on the forum. Autoloader PS to the other forum users: If I'm wrong here about this please correct me.
Thread: First Try:Poser+Bryce | Forum: Bryce
Glad to see another Bryce/Poser user. I do all my rendering in Bryce. Looks like you have the techniques down pretty good, everything looks really clean. One thing I would suggest to you is to work on your choice of textures a little better. You would be amazed how just changing the textures in a pic can change it's look greatly. Now here's a little tip for you, and this is totally my opinion and you may disagree with me. But, to me, the wood and stone wall textures that come with Bryce really bite. You can do MUCH better by using seamless webpage backgrounds that you can find free off of the net. These can be applied to any object or plane in Bryce and look a helluva lot better than the materials that come with Bryce. If you don't know how to do this or would like to see some of my work to see what I'm talking about drop me a line at autoloader@hotmail.com and I'll be more than happy to tell you what I know. Good luck with your future renderings. Autoloader
Thread: make rain in Bryce | Forum: Bryce
Ghostofmacbeth is right, there is a rain material already in Bryce 3D (and I would assume Bryce 4 also). I've used it before and all I did was apply it to a cube, enlarged the cube to get the amount of space between the drops that I wanted, and moved it up in front of your feild of veiw so that you are looking through it to the pic. Here's a pic that I did a while back. I'm just posting it to give you an idea of what it looks like, not to display the pic, it's not that good in my opinion.
Thread: Making Spiral stairs | Forum: Bryce
I think the tutorial you are thinking of is by Ed Baumgarten's site. You can find it in the web resources section on the right side of this page. If you are wanting to do what I think you are then his tutorial will work if you can get the inside size of the stairs to match the outside size of the tower. You will want to delete the inside handrail probably also, or both of them. But then that's up to you, either way his tutorial should work for what you want.

Steve, You already know how I feel about your tutorial so I don't think I need to tell you again. ~grin~ (for you who don't know, I've thanked Steve out the ass for breathing new life into my Poser 3). But hey, if you need any help with HTML let me know. I have my own little business designing and building webpages so I do know a little about it. ~cheeky grin~ And I'd be more than happy to give you any assistance that you might need in that area. You have my e-mail addy, let me know if you need anything. Autoloader
Thread: Attn:All authors, Check your copyright! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The pose used on Miss December is from Ghost's sexy pose set. I recognized it because it's the same pose I used on one of my favorite pics. I checked out the readme and Ghost's doesn't say anything one way or the other as far as his terms of usage, but it is definately from his pose set. I'll bet all of you were so busy looking for clothes and textures that you didn't even think about the poses so I just thought I'd mention this.

Thread: Bryce: disappearing window title line | Forum: Bryce
Just pop in an image source html tag. Put in {img src=the url of the pic}. Of course replace the brackets with the less than and greater than signs. I couldn't put it here because the browser would think it was an html tag.
Thread: Bryce: disappearing window title line | Forum: Bryce
I don't know why it does that, but there is a way to make it stay up all the time. Just click on the display max/min button in the upper right corner. That will make the title bar stay on all the time.

First of all, I did include the who the textures and such were from but the gallery wouldn't let it go through. It told me that I could not post more than 255 characters. So I figured it was better to have the explination in there since the other stuff wouldn't fit. Secondly, this is the first time that I have been back to the forum to see if anything is here. Sorry that I was not fast enough for you. And lastly, what the hell are you talking about with this e-mail crap. If you are implying that I'm spamming you then I welcome you to go ahead and trace the IP# so that you will see that it's not me. And hell if you don't know how post the # here and I'll trace it for you myself.
