I think more info is needed. What happens when you render a single Pic using the Render command. Are your lights turned on? Is your camera pointed dirrectly at the lights? Try changing the angle of the camera to see what happens. Try rendering from a different camera. Have you modified the light settings at all or are you using the default settings?

I use VIDEOMACH was is available for a 30 day trial. Try WWW.GROMADA.COM for the program. It sounds like it will do exactly what you want.

Thread: Help: How do I make SIMPLE transparency maps? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I use any paint program that will output JPG or BMP files. If I'm reading you right; you want to make something like a view port. one way to do this would be to create your scene including whatever animation you wanted and then put a "Square" primitive object between the camera and the scene. Next I would open a paint program and ensure the blank canvass was white. With in the white workarea I would draw and fill a black circle. I'd save that file and then I would set the transparency map for the "Square" to reference my newly created "JPG" file. I would also set the transparencydial to 100%. when you render you will see the affect. This is a different appraoch than was already discussed but it sounds closer to what you're looking for.
Thread: animating problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Assuming I understand what you're saying., there can be several reasons and solutions: 1) are you looking at the figure through the posing camera? If so change the camera. 2) How are you identifying the motion displacement. Often a BVH file will only define the body's movement relative to itself. You can identify this be looking at the animation pallette. If there are no keyframes indentified at the start and end of each cycle then you will not have movement through space. 3) When you save it to the library are you saving the body as well as the body parts?
Thread: Anyone know how to parent items? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
first make sure you are on frame one. Then import the prop. THEN PARENT THE prop using object change parent. THEN position the prop on the head. It works every time. Just make sure you are on frame one and you parent before you position the prop.

Thread: poser 5 hair room query | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've just started using the hair room. What you're looking for is quite possible. P5 alows you to set different hair lengths and kink affects on different parts of the head. BUT plan on spending several hours and tries to figure all this out. With the latest service release of P5, the program is now quite stable, so now is not a bad time to buy.

You may also have the wrong interpolation setting. From the anination pallette find the camera you are using and then ensure that all of the squares in the grid on the right are green. If you have any other colours that's your problem
