Greetings! Gosh I hope I didn't get some beta... I paid for that Pro version. Rats! I'll have to double check when I run home during lunch hour to check on the render.

Thread: Bryce 7 Speed | Forum: Bryce
Hrm, strange... The same file. Is there an advantage when it comes to speed if the file is saved in Br7 format? Or is there some new setting that should be selected on? I got Bryce using all the cores. Even rendering the scene in the thumbnail nano-viewer is slow in 7.

Quote - Hey! we all go missing for a while and end up back where we belong!
We have no choice,Bryce is for life!
Congrats! (belated) on your marriage.
Cheers! Jed.
Thanks! I remember you also vanished for a while then returned, and with some awesome ships in the freebie section. Isn't there some sort of saying that states we return to the things most important to us? If there isn't one then there ought to be. :-)

Quote - I wondered where you went :) We were talking about Render Farms before you disappeared :)
Greetings, yes... render farms. Since then I have invested in an HPC cluster with the goal of doing a render farm. Unfortunately a web site I'm writing has gotten in the way. Now with it nearly finished suddenly I get a phone call from an old business contact with a very nice opportunity. The next day the six core is set up, etc, and just very little chance to mess with the render farm idea. Well... until this project, that is. So now I have Bryce 7 Pro, but it looks like Lightning is still the same.
Anyway, how you been?

Greetings ya'll! I'm back after months of being away. The challenge sounds interesting to enter, but I don't seem to find a link with anything posted/submitted nor a date when the challenge is due!

Light can have some interesting effects with different materials. Play around with it, different light in the same room, experiment with different textures, intensity.

Thread: The Flying Scotsman Project | Forum: Bryce
It is because of this project that I am now getting interested again in hobby trains. HO and N scales, but mostly N. I'm now buying the box cars, collecting the engines, and researching layouts and buildings and generally dreaming of one day doing my own (I dunno what the train hobbiest terminology is) my own landscape. But now I am very interested in finding a Flying Scotsman and other European style trains in N, or British N scale.
I've been looking into magazines. Lots of new things since the last time I was involved with model trains. So I'm curious.. who else here has a model train hobby?
Bryster, I hope you finish this project soon.. I would like to get my hands on this train.
