Webbabe here is the addy for Steve's tutorial in the tut's section.. http://www.renderosity.com/tutorial.ez?Sectionid=4 Have a ream of paper ready and print them out so you can have them available when in need...;) I have been meaning to use this myself So I'm going to hopefully be going through it with you myself lol. I like the idea of ripping off the lips eyes etc. and getting a better map outlay for my charachters. I used it once and it world great but have since put together a new machine so off I go again.......hehhe..:)

Hi webbabe....:) Nah it is quite a complicated process untill you learn it trying to make your own unique uv map for your poser figures. But it really isn't all that hard. I take it your using Steve Cox's UV Mapper program. Somewhere buried within the tutorials section is a full demonstration on how to use the program for making specific and better UV Poser maps for the figure you created. Untill you select new map and go through a series of instructions the program will just spit out a basic one like the one that comes with Poser. You also have to remember to select planer map when doing so that may be why you not getting the right results. I will come back later and add the addy for the tutorial or give you some better specifics to your problem. And you should only need to export the figure you made as a object to do the map with ok....I will add another post here for you with an example if you want just leave a note....
Thread: Pulling the Plug on Playing Cards??????? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with RealitysPoison! I have checked out senjins gallery and store and nothing to indicate a deck of cards for one and two you can't copyright ideas! If he or she was using a card with an image on the bottom of their work and someone was doing the same then there is a gripe. Also just to note this senjin has only trolled through my stuff leaving nothing but hey where did you get that...plunk middle of the road rating....middle of the road comment! Nothing to indicate how to better my pics or a praise suggestion. The comment field is for specific reasons not to inflame or leave flames. But senjin feels otherwise. Wolf I would not scrap this idea because senjiin feels the need to troll my stuff and leave non positive comments. I would like to see senjin join us rather than moan I did that first.......!

Thread: Creating Poser Morph Targets in Ray Dream 5.5 | Forum: Carrara
Thanks cutcopyandpaste.......Have checked out your tut. nice work. Exporting only the body part that is the intended morph target is def alot easier than exporting the whole and deleting the unused parts..lol And Yes I think it's something simple in the exporting phase..your right will try your suggestions and hope for the best.......thanks..!

Yep ICQ is trouble alright. When mine was up and running on the taskbar I was getting 20 hacks a day some doing damage to my machine which I still haven't fixed...Now that I shut it down I get maybe one scan hack a week. I think ICQ is the peer to peer choice of the hacking community..lol Anyone out there running cable beware of ICQ!

Nah take it slow and easy Ironbear. I jumped in feet first when I bought this printer and paid a dear mistake for that......hehe The bryce and poser prints I did in the early stage were stunning and I think everyone has an interest in seeing their work in large format. What's the old saying..."build it and they will come"...lol I don't want to get swamped probably couldn't keep up, just a slow and steady interest; enough work to keep me going but not take away from my art...;) So far I'm seeing enough to get me ready to order some print heads ink to get it back online.. And I want to thank everyone for posting comments about this!

Cool Ironbear! Eventually I will be running off some test prints for the staff here like yourself and you can all judge the quality and print media. I have about 7 diff kinds of paper from photo, matt, canvas and you should see the art board that goes through this thing it's quite nice! And I actually have some work coming up thats good enough for printing...lol

Yup wyrwulf am fully aware of current prices. It was too expensive before when I started but now prices for ink and paper have come way down. I am putting this feeler out there because I'm not going to spend $400 on ink unless I can use it up have a batch now that I can't use because of the ink jets being clogged from lack of use. If anyone shows interest I will work up a decent price list and post it hopefully on my never finished web site or maybe here if allowed somewhere. Believe it or not the ink was $800 dollars and paper for 50 prints was around $280 when I bought it! Thank god those have came down by half! Do the math it was expensive! Well not to bad for just plain file print..but I was doing collage work for people and nobody wanted to pay for the time involved..but just doing prints of finished work is a big time saver and makes it affordable for everyone I think. Wish I had know about Renderosity when I was running it earlier........:)

Thread: Pure 3D Gallery | Forum: Community Center
Alot of the work I see here is all true 3d with no post work at all. But there are times when you reach the limitations of poser figures poseing, where there are rips at the seems and joints separating and a little photoshop is truly needed. Not to add more realism but to correct for the deficencies of the progam. And that I think is a good thing. Besides Once the image is rendered it is 2 dimensional not 3 anyway right folks. The only 3d is in the creation of the object before rendering. Just a thought and excuse my bad spelling lol. Besides another gallery just for non post work would have me jumping back and forth way too much hehehe.
