Hi Laurie!
Â
Thanks for getting back to me! :)
Unfortunately this did not help. I have jsut updated and rebooted, I have updated Adobe Air and rebooted. I have also just completely uninstalled Poser9 and re-installed the basics of it. Same problem is occurring.
Â
Are there perhaps temp folders somewhere which I should manually remove as well...?
Â
Thanks!

I'm just glad you found a work-around for this. I bought Poser7 three days ago and I was about to just roll back to Poser 4, which I had ABSOLUTELY no problems with for four years!! :-D
Cheers, Ziggie!

Thread: Poser 7 - Sketch Designer - Background image won't render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Does this problem also occur for you with the Poser4-style render in Poser 7?
I upgraded from Poser4 to Poser 7 three days ago and the firefly render is the only way I can get an imported background picture to render in the scene. Sadly, firefly renders are too slow and I'm young and impatient! :D
I 've played with every button I could find, read the manual from cover to cover (extremely vague in places!!) and still can't get background pics to render in anything other than firefly.
Come back, Poser 4. All is forgiven!!! :D

Thread: Render Size and Disappearing Props... | Forum: Poser Technical
Hi Scott! It disappears altogether. I even made a render with just props - an OBJ, a PP2 and a 3DS, just to see what would happen. It looks like it's just this cape that does it. Other 3DS files don't seem to do this. The transparency is set at 0% on it, it's black, no texture applied. I'm gonna end up painting it in free-hand and I'm a bit dodgy at that! :o)

Mine asked for a password as well. However, when I typed my Yahoo password in, it ran the slideshow. Some remarkable work there, Duane! Cheers! - Hairy

Hi kanderson! A PZ2 file is a "pose" file should be placed in Runtime/Libraries/Poses/folder name (make up a name for your new poses folder and put the PZ2's in there)
Thread: All Controls Disabled Except for the Main Camera View | Forum: Poser Technical
I don't believe this - my modem reset itself and when I logged back on to the 'Net I was able to use the camera controls properly! What's up with that?!?!?!? I seem to recall something about Poser logging on to the Internet to check if you're using a pirated version. Is this true? Would it be why my copy screwed up, cos it was checking my authenticity? Oh, incidentally, my copy is true-bill original!! Well, that's one for the "Strange" files anyway. Sorry to disturb y'all. :o)
