It's not sexiest; get off your soap box before you get splinters.
It sounded sexist to me, too. Probably because the seemingly prevalent theory around here is that all or most men are obsessed with large-breasted women and that somehow that is a bad thing.
Personally, I don’t think the theory is true—obsession is a strong word. But for a male to be attracted to a woman’s breasts is quite normal. It stems from all animals’ basic instinct to reproduce. For human males, strong, healthy breasts on a woman signal a good candidate for nurturing children. For females, strong, healthy buttocks on a male signal the ability to thrust hard & long, thereby improving the chances of fertilization.
Of course this is all subconscious and is just nature at work. Hence, it is a good thing. After all, if it weren’t for nature, none of us would be here now, would we?

my request: hugh jackman.
You should have asked for Alan Alda. That might put an end to all this.

A search for “alan alda” in the Poser forum came up with 274 hits. But they’re not sorted by date, and I ain’t about to dig through them to find the first.

You know, for years I’ve been reading here how evil DAZ is. Yet I can’t recall ever seeing anything specific ... not even one thing that would indicate purposeful wrongdoing, cheating, immorality, ect.
So can someone please explain why some people hate them so much? What have they done, specifically?
TIA
BTW: I wouldn’t take Bryce even if they were giving it away.

Lovely!
Thanks and Happy Birthday!
How did you get the butterflies to hold still with their wings expanded like that? There are tons of people in a photo forum I belong to who would love to know.

It’s late and I’m only half awake so this is a lousy example but I hope you get the drift.

You mean the edges are blurry? Obviously, since the inside is solid.
Anyway, that could be the way the brush was made. It’s been a while since I made brushes, but IIRC, you can set the amount of “feathering” or softness for the edge of the brush.
Tomorrow I’ll grab some brushes from that site and see what I can see.
Oops! Crosspost with the above guy whose name I can’t spell.

Thanks all for the info. So then Hexagon is Carrara’s modeler without all the other stuff? You can’t even render with it.
And, pleonastic, I had visited the site before I asked the question, but I guess I did’t look deep enough. Following your suggestion, I went back and looked some more. Jeese, things sure have changed since RayDream and Carrara One!
I still couldn’t find any shots of Carrara’s modeling interface though. I’m guessing it’s the same as Hexagon?
Thanks again for the responses!

During all the commotion I guess my question was missed. Well, either that or I’m being ignored. And that’s okay, I’m used to it; my wife does it all the time.
But is there not one kind soul out there who can explain the difference between Carrara and Hexagon, and is willing to do so?
If not, well, just ignore this message.

Hmm...are you sure? My Simon ran away when I moved, haven’t seen him since.* Well, if Dave-so is right about 9 lives, and your Simon is my Simon, he must be on his 3rd life because that was about 25 years ago.
** - That was a real bummer, I got him at about six weeks of age and had him for 3 years. We got along great; I guess he just didn’t like the move.*

Can you post an image of what you’re talking about? Maybe one of the brush stroke on white and one on the texture?
It could be your document’s dpi is set too low to capture the fine details of the brush. Just a guess without seeing. Or maybe the brush was made blurry.

What’s the difference between Carrara and Hexagon?
I wonder if I’ll qualify for an upgrade deal from Carrara 1?

Okay, this is creepy...but true:
Years ago I adopted my very first cat and named him Simon. He was colored exactly the same as yours.
