Please, please, forward BB's comments and information to the programmer. He knows what he is talking about. I only received one ebot for this thread yesterday and it was about the person who replied right after my comments. After that, nothing.

The forum has been a mess for many, many months. The MarketPlace is insane! I have to bookmark a product when I see it or add it to my Wishlist, because I am not likely to turn up the product if I do I search at a later time. The catagories in the Store were created obviously by someone who does not work with any of the programs that people here use so they do not know how to create catagories so that a customer can quickly search for something they want and make that all important purchase. Too much emphasis has been placed in making the whole site smart phone friendly. I am about to get a huge gasp from people here---I do NOT have a smart phone and don't intent on getting one (I have a simple flip style cell phone). The Freestuff section has been modeled like the Store without items clearly marked (and searchable) by Software. As has been said before many times, you have to click on each thing to read the description to see if the free item is for Poser, DS, Bryce, ect. A Most Wanted Catagory is okay, but a Trending Now Catagory???? I'm not a teenager eager to be one of the sheep so I look for what's 'trending'. When I come to Freestuff I want to see What's New and I want to know if it is compatible with the software that I use, and I want to be able to easily search by Figure (V4, M4, G2F, ect), or by Type (like typing in "Bottle"). You've got a web designer who knows nothing about the needs of a 3D community and the software that they use.

P.S. When Boni replied to the old thread that I made, "Nylon Material", I did NOT get an ebot!

She looks like a nice character! I would love to work with her. I find it too bad that they didn't decide to let us purchase Pauline as a seperate character because I will not be able to get Poser 11 for at least another year. Very tight budget.

I have a feeling that someone will figure out how to get G3F into Poser 11. Someone already got Michael 7 HD into Poser 11 with clothing. Picture is in the gallery over at RuntimeDNA (not sure I can put the link to the image here). This is my opinion only, but I'm not enammored with G3F. I've done 4 Iray renders with her and I'm just not thrilled with her. I have yet to install G3M but I downloaded the Essensials package a couple of nights ago. But I have a feeling someone will figure it out (just like I believe someone figured out how to get G2F skins on G3F over in the DAZ forums). When they do, I'll bookmark the thread in my reference folders.

As for the second part of my post, I don't understand why you think I was making some sort of threat. It's up to me how to spend my very limited budget. I've been a vendor off and on, starting back when Rendo first had an online store, so I wouldn't do or say things in a forum that might turn off prospective customers.

Sad, all I'm seeing is bashing. This thread should be about creative solutions. Have you purchased Poser 11? Are you trying to assist people in ways to get Genesis into the new version of Poser? That's what this thread SHOULD be about.

I am surprised that certain people who are vendors over at DAZ do not really realize that some of us out here use both programs (I wanted to play with Iray for a while because Reality was not satisfying for me). But because of the behavior I have seen in these forums from those certain vendors, I have a short list of vendors I would not purchase content from.

Okay, here we go. The skin is not exactly the color I wanted. I had wanted a little pinker, but it's okay.

I guess each to their own. I have worked hard on maps to get the pink in your second render. I'm rendering a pic, will post. It's a custom skin that at one time I thought to sell in the market place.

My opinion here, but I wouldn't use blue color in the diffuse. Just use white. Use of that color in the diffuse channel was an old cheat in P6 and P7.

Just an opinion here, but the skin on the right side of the above image is terrible. That is a good texture map there (which one is it please?) Most texture maps are too orange (as in Fake Tanner Orange!!!!), or a bizarre yellowish greenish color. I do a lot of correcting of skin maps before I used them for render. And yes, this is a gripe of mine, the orange skin. I was once a cosmetic manager for a drug store chain and every summer I was required to push sunless tanners and all these products do is turn the skin orange. It's not a good color. I have had to mess with colors on so many maps to get close to the color of the map you referenced!

At least for me, under Firefox, the bottom bar is mercifully gone today. Now they need to get rid of the white bar, and fix the Freestuff section. I will put up with a "Trending" section (as absolutely stupid as that is), if they would bring back being able to search by software and by specifics (should be like it used to be, a drop down menu where you could display V4 items only, or G2F items, Lights......you guys remember).

Might I suggest that you seriously consider the comments that BB makes? He is a consulting programmer in Real Life. I would vote with my pocket book about this horrible upgrade, but I don't buy much here anymore. My budget is too tight and when I do have some extra to spend, the Rendo Store is just as badly arranged as everything else. I literally have a folder of book marks for things in the store because items are so hard to find in the Store. That in itself should be a hint.

Go to the Commons Forum and launch a complaint there. Some one might pay attention there. Actually do something about this mess.....that I don't know. Have any of you looked at what mess was made of the galleries?

The Galleries are beyond horrendous!!!!!! First off my bookmark for the Poser Gallery no longer worked. I had to make a new one. Then I was met with a jumble of thumbnails. Thumbnails are supposed to be a consistant size so that they make neat rows of images. And there are NO page numbers! It's that idiotic thing as I get on an image search at Yahoo, you scroll to the bottom of the page and more loads up. There needs to be page numbers! Dang it, stop designing things for millenials and their stupid smart phones.
