I just installed XP as well. So far so good, if only for the fact that it hasn't crashed my computer. I was the only human bieng in my graphic arts class to be using windows ME, I just used it to see the look on everyones face...priceless. One good thing about ME, I was able to buy an upgrade for only $100.00, not bad really. But where is the big celebration I was promised? remember when everyone waited in line all night for win 98? I was the only one in the store this mourning, plenty of copies of XP for everyone.

I have had no trouble importing Poser still objects into Bryce if I use 3DS, one can even import them in a manner which allows for all the body parts to be textured and rendered separately. As for Bryce into Poser, the best bet, I think is to make a Bryce movie, a sky for example and play it as aa AVI in Poser, then have your characters do what they will as though it were a 'blue screen, that's what I do.

It is a term used in Thailand for a foreigner, I understand the word to translate as "less then human" or "less then Thai", I still love it there and would go back in a minute, even as a "Farang" We act sometimes (I am as guilty as anyone) as if all of the net is in the United States, or should be, we apply American standards of offense or otherwise on posts from all over the world, is this right? Greetings, I am always looking to help out if possible, I have just returned from Stanford University and have limited use of my now Cinema 4D, used in Gladiator. I also have done some stuff with Poser and I own the Pro-pack and can export to 3d Max, sadly I have never worked with this program I own Bryce 5 and have dabbled in Lightwave but never 3d Max, I can make stuff in Poser and Cinema 4D and export them to Max....does that work?

There are a couple of third party [programs, Sussana and Poseright, or something, check old threads they have been mentioned many times.

I have had problems with Poser character exports, they can't seem to find the skin texture. I found that exporting in 3D file or lightwave works fine

I am currently at Stanfford University taking a special course in , among other things 3D. I have been a long time Poser and Bryce user, Amorphium was the first 3D program I got. I have fooled around with lightwave and Vue de Spre (spelling)? I have heard many, many times how a person must spend thousands of dollars on a system one does not know how to use or there stuff is junk. A kid here for the class insists on Lightwave for his first 3D program ( a cracked version). He goes on and on about how Poser and Bryce don't compare, which they don't. But what about need, and what it takes to meet that need. Do you really need a Roles Royce to drive to the quikey mart? I don't. A Pixel is a Pixel, render time is best remedied with faster processors and more RAM (not expensive software) and one must concentrate on story and the best way to hold peoples interests? Why is there not this heated debate about screenwriting and the best way to make an independant project? Have we lost sight of our reasons for doing this? Just something to think about.

I confess I am one of those people who stands starry eyed at the door of the local electronics retailer waiting for the new operating system, so I can crash my old one and start from scratch, minus all my beloved photos of Jeneffer Love Hewitt and Rachel Leigh Cook, but that's another matter. ME works great now but I am having problems with firewire, I just bought Adobe streaming media bundle here at Stanford ($400 for Premere 6 After efects five, illustrater and something else... too cool)! I'm hoppng the firewire card have just installed will be compatable with adobe. ME is supposed to have the drivers for it, of course it doesn't, it's always somthing, that's cool though, Famous Babes has some new pictures of Jeniffer so I won't get bored.
