Is it true? Does Poser 5 not allow for importing animations onto Cinema 4D? Can this be? I will be oh so depressed if this is the case. Some have even gone so far as to recommend that old OBJ hoobajoo of importing one file at a time or some such nonsense. Surely this is a vicious rumor, started no doubt, by terrorists. Right?

well that "series of object files" bullshit a big NO GO!! for me anyway i was told by Steve Cooper himself on the telephone that there will be a new round of poser5 hosting plugins for C4DXl lightwave and MAX. BUT I hear now that the hair and possibly the cloth dynamics wont be able to be hosted via the hosting plugins So in my veiw that basicly makes upgrading to poser5 pointless and i will continue to use poserpro4 and cinema as poser5's new "firefly" renderer is well... less that spectacular compared to: Cinema4DXl, Lightwave , MAX, Bryce, truespace ,vue, notepad MS Paint and the win95 DOS prompt :-/ OK!! maybe its better than notepad

hair & cloth export from poser5 would be pointless as c4d, LW & max already have it as plugins or built into the programs themselves, & once again please remember firefly is brand new to everyone but CL & the beta testers, the rest of us are learning from the ground up again, ok?

".. hair & cloth export from poser5 would be pointless as c4d, LW & max already have it as plugins or built into the programs themselves"...Good point and why is CL still "providing" to these biggies?...why not Vue 4.1 and others alike? Has it something to do with the EULA between them negotiation? Just wondering if e-on is looking at importing P5 stuff?...no harm giving us the "excitment" about it. I know some people got into Vue, beside being an excellent program at its price, though not perfect but it can import P4 files (PZ3).

mover4 springs to mind for poser4 we'll just have to wait & see, like someone said a while back, "exciting times ahead"
