Slynky, thanx for the help there, however I do have the update installed, and I have tried reinstalling Win2k with the Service pack 2, and reinstalling PS6 with the update too, I still have the same prob. :( Does anyone perhaps know if there is any other forums/msg boards where I might be able to get some help ??? I think the problem lies with color banding on your graphics card display settings, I was running my display on 32bit color, and I could not see it, but when i switched to 24bit, then i saw it. I have no idea how to fix this seeing that the jpg format cannot store images in 32bit format, where Photoshop uses the color management system and profiles to display the colours accurately, that's why you don't see it there. If you are using PS6, use the custom shape tool, under the toolbar options for shapes, there is already a neat 5 pointed star, which you can easily convert to as many points as needed by using the direct selection path tools. Luthor :)

Another thing you can try, drag the layer from the layers pallette of the original image onto the new image holding down the Shift key, this would drop the layer in the center of the new image. Hope it helps :) Luthor.

Thanx Rich, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to revert to 98. The main reason I went to Win2k is for stability, but if I cannot find another way, I'll have to reinstall 98 just for Vue. Suppose I can't have EVERYTHING my way, hehe. Luthor
