This is not a "bug". This is a deliberate notification on behalf of Renderosity to make us aware that something we clicked on has gone on sale. It is not something I have requested. It is by definition spam.
Please discontinue the automatic process. Or maintain the process with either an opt-in or opt-out radio button or check box. But I do hereby opt-out.
Thank you.
Thread: Looking for a forgotten Poser or D|S product. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry, but no. It wasn't by Oskarsson. Nor Bloodboy.
Instead of oskarsson's Creech etal, that have defined features, the item i'm looking for is almost like a blubbery mess of pink veiny meat. I know it sounds nasty. But it was kinda cool.
Thanks for trying.

I wonder if the anti-Poserites feel as pigheaded about the use of fonts. I seriously doubt that when they add text to their images, it is all of their own design. And on top of that, I doubt they credit the source.
Thread: The Soldier - Ultra low polygon original figure | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
It seems to me that having a lowpoly figure that can appear enmasse in Poser is a great idea....but the strength of this concept is the identical nature of each figure. Roman legionnaires, Star Wars stormtroopers, SWAT teams, hoplites, ninjas, and varous other uniformed soldiers, all of whom have a "uniform" appearance, would work exceptionally well in a large group. Other groups, like the Mongols, Huns, Vikings, and so forth have less of a "uniform" appearance. You would need a small variety of Viking figures, for example, to depict a reasonable Viking horde. Elsewise they would all look identical. That said, if you do indeed have plans to make a variety of "barbarian" figures, will you consider creating variations on figure types (i.e. Viking A, Viking B, Viking C)? And for what its worth, I DO support war related items. But maybe, to appease pacifists (how odd that "fist" appears in that word), you could create some lowpoly conscientious objectors.

Ever heard of a "node mask"? It should work perfectly, provided you have P5 P6 or P7. Check out the tutorial: http://www.rdna3d.com/Tutorials/Poser6/ColorMasking.html

Is some program blocking communication to the internet? Do you have a firewall set up preventing Poser 7 from contacting home? Are you using SpyCatcher? Maybe search "General Extraction Error IMP1" on Google.
Thread: P7 Alpha channel bug | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was wondering about this alpha channel problem, so I did some meager testing using the default factory scene rendered with the default Firefly settings. Now remember, this topic is regarding alpha channels from P7 renders with background images. Initially, the PSD and TIF alpha channels were showing up when rendering w/o background images. But that's not the issue. I made some renders WITH background images and no alphas! I deleted the background image, and subsequent renders also had NO alpha channel, whether they had BG images or not. I quit P7 and restarted, rendered, and alpha channels worked again. I tried the "Paste onto Background" feature, rendered, and the alpha was fine. I deleted the "Paste onto Background" image, and tried another via File>Import>Background Picture. Once again, rendering with AND without BG images, no alphas. I closed the file, and made a New file, rendered the factory default, and alphas were back. There definitely seems to be a problem with P7 befouling alphas thanks to BG images, but I can't pinpoint why. Any thoughts? Edit: Mac G5 Dual 2.5 GHz OSX 10.4.8 8GB RAM

lkendall, In the Render Dimensions settings, you can change the default 72 dpi setting if you select "Render to exact resolution".
