My suggestion is to always try the trial version first. Vue 9 puts more demand on your video card, so make sure it runs on your computer. If you don't have issues, I would go for the upgrade to Studio.

When you copy the serial number, make sure to copy the entire serial number including the VUE part. Also check that you don't have an extra space at the end.
Once you have the serial number selected, Contol-C to copy, Control-V to paste.

If you know you are going to be adding modules, it may be a better idea to start off with the free Pioneer, the import module (much better since you can import more file types), and SkinVue. From what I understand, the SkinVue included with Frontier only works with Frontier. Once you move up to Espirit, then you may have to buy SkinVue again. Yes it costs a bit more, but may end up saving money in the long run...

Yes, Frontier is also upgradable. It uses the same core program as Pioneer.

Poser can export the contents of a scene to a folder. This python script will copy the pz3 file, .obj models, and all textures, bump maps, and transparency maps!
Poser 7 - On the Scripts menu, select Utility, Collect Scene Inventory.
Poser 6 - On the Windows menu, click Python Scripts.
Click the Utility Funcs button.
Click the Collect Scene Inventory button.
Select Copy all to Folder.
Make sure you copy to an empty folder – you will have lots of files! Now use the files in this folder to import into Vue.

Most likely the bump setting is too high. When you import, one of the settings is a bump conversion - try turning that lower.

Click the icon on the left on the main camer view (View Display Options). From the menu, click on Frame Guides. Uncheck the Display action safe frame and Display title safe frame boxes.
