Nice image, I was wondering how you put the animation together. Specifically the smoke trail. Could you have used a rotating light object linked to the back of the missle instead using the aurora filter. I guess that wouldn't have the repetiton of smoke pouring from the fuselage... Was the missle set to flow force in a specific gravitational direction? I have 1 more question involving a technique I weas considering using to make flownf water w/metaballs. I was thinking of creating morphing metaball that flows down a riverbed encompassing the width. By repeating the sequence and overlapping the paths of the recurring metaballs I was thiking you might be able to create a riverbed. Can you please tell me how to overlap the sequence as in the smoketrail used here? Thanks.

I forgot about the conical thing, but that's a default scene setting. Now I seem to be getting some results however the veiw is often two tone depending on the camera angle. Just blue for thbe sky and grey for the ground. Sheesh this is like learning to walk for the first time! What's worse is that I can't get any response from my water plane settings. Just grey muck with light grey splochy acid puddles! I need to know why the sky goes away when I reposition the camera and why even though it's above ground the water doesn't ripple. Thanks again

Thread: Why Ray Dream 5.5 won't Texture Map... | Forum: Carrara
I can't seem to raise the link to your Painter page, I tried the # grid method and it seemed as though it was going to work when my system crashed!@#$%%^ Terrible, just as I was importing my finished texture. Does anyone know the link where I can download that Painter3D import/export extension.

Thread: Why Ray Dream 5.5 won't Texture Map... | Forum: Carrara
As I said before I have tried using different mapping methods in the the modes section but the cubical always seems to work best. When I use it I am usually able to at least see my textures on the right sides of my plane however they are always to small or out of proportion. I tried exporting the obj that the UV mapper makes and then putting the texture on but it's the same problem. The paint box absolutely will not work. I've seen the training pak demonstration on a cube but when I try it on my sufaces nogo. My last hope is that maybe painter3D has something I missed that will allow me to paint the texture more accurately. Perhaps a zoom of imported obj? Does anyone have info on this? Drop a line if you know more... terry26@hotmail.com SPACEY

Thread: How do i make my own Morph objects for characters? Such as puffy arms ect? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
1)If you want to do something like that import an obj of your object to be morphed into Ray Dream. Go into the mesh form modeler and and choose the veiw that shows the trunk of the arm ect. and ensquare the vertex points one at a time in the compass directions and drag them away from the center. 2)You should be able to do this in Poser by scaling in the sliders but if you want somthing a little more irregular try a deformer. 3)Go to the Metacreations sit and download the users manual from the approproate pulldown menu: http://www5.metacreations.com/cgi-bin/downloads/index.cgi this should help a lot:) SPACEY
