I used MojoWorld. I can't find the CD for it. I don't remember if it was a full or trial version or which mag it was from. But ya, I liked the style of MojoWorld renders.

Thread: Getting Vue to work with RTX cards?! | Forum: Vue
Vue is hard-coded to use certain card versions is all. Which sucks. I still use Hexagon 1.21, Poser 6, Carrara 5.1, etc.... Modeling apps from 15 years ago. They all work with this card just fine OpenGL-wise. I'll have to put up with the software-mode that Vue is using.

Thread: are there any stores that sell new vue scenes? | Forum: Vue
I used to buy Vue stuff all the time from Cornucopia3d for Vue 9.5 Infinite. I didn't go much past that version, so stopped buying Vue stuff that was still coming out until the Vue servers died without any backups made. All my Vue purchases are kept on DVD or USB stick.

Thread: Rendering Objects Over Transparent Background | Forum: Vue
In render settings, turn off infinite planes in the alpha. Then render your object. Don't save as BMP. Save as PNG with the option for save alpha info enabled.
What you'll end up with is a PNG file of your rendered object with a transparent background behind it.

I've always used backdrops in my camera setting. Then say whether it is affected by environment lighting or not.

Thread: Is 2.8 available yet? | Forum: Blender
Thanks. Found 2.8 beta to try. Why wasn't blender made this way from the start, back with 0.9? Hexagon was doing things this way back in 2006. Anyway, I'm glad blender has finally caught up with its 3D modeling tools and GUIs.

Ok. I assumed that because of all the Blender 2.8 tutorial videos and hype on YouTube that there was a download available for it. I'll check back again around June/July then.

Thread: Infinite Terrains - how to get a close up of objects? | Forum: Vue
Are you dragging the camera object around the workspace?
Are you dragging on the navigation buttons below the preview?
Are you using the zoom button on your mouse?

In previous versions, you clicked on Animation and then chose Animation Render Options. That's where you selected the frames to render and the image type (usually PNG using the embedded alpha format).

People that believe in Flat Earth also believe in much worse things they can think of.

I'm still using Vue 9.5 Infinite. Don't know if it has that or not.
