Quote - 'Fraid not. Thehy weren't really made to be athletic socks. They're more dress socks. I do have some ankle socks coming out that goes with a tennis outfit that I'm working on. Think that might help?
Beautiful - those would be perfect. Please let us know when they are finished. :)

There are socks and a t-shirt in this Jumper set from EClark1894 :

Thanks!
Can the socks be lowered to mid-shin for a more athletic look? I know I can use a transparency map to make them appear shorter, but I was curious if they were customizable.

Quote - Make a variety, and see what "sells" for yourself. Don't rely entirely upon the opinions of others. Also, make what appeals to you. For myself, I'll take anything Rex and Roxie, Tyler and Anastasia, and Miki 4.
Agreed. Rex and Roxie are two of the best models I have ever used. I'm collecting everyday clothing for Roxie, as there is so little with P2014. So I will take anything - beggars can't be choosers? ;)

Would somebody be willing to create a pair of socks for Roxie? I've tried using the Fitting room to convert socks for previous female characters, but they all end up looking more like shoes or boots. A generic t-shirt would be great too.
Roxie is an awesome character. It's a shame she shipped with so little clothing support.

Thanks Teyon. Wow, what a cluster. Yes I was correct, the DL Manager was indeed downloading Poser 10 instead of Poser 2014. I needed Smith Micro to change the DL Manager to put the right files into the queue, otherwise I was getting the wrong files.
Hopefully I am getting everything that I am supposed to be getting.
Sometimes I think these DL managers cause far more problems than they solve.

Thank you everybody. Moving up to Poser 9+ seems like a good starting plan. What about Poser 10? Are the advancements in 10 significant compared to 9?

My planned workflow was to move one knee forward, and then slide the hips forward with IK turned on for the legs. Yes, I agree the overall body movement should be linear with the individual parts perhaps being smoothed.
I literally tried this with a video camera recording me to try to get the speed of movement right.
BTW is there any affordable software which will allow me to create crude BVH from 2D video? Ie, not shot from 2 angles.

Thank you everyone, I'm going to go through those tutorials and test out a cloth room example too.
Is PhilC's scissors a much easier method to use than doing the edits within Poser? It seems to me the transmap might be the easiest method for something that isn't cloth.

That's an interesting idea Sam...had not considered something like that.
I think I'm going to start over using Victoria 4 since I will have access to a lot more clothing options. If I'm not getting anywhere, I'll take a shot at painting them on as a texture.

Wow, great advice from everyone! Thank you so much.
Jimdoria-
I'm not dead set on using Poser. As you rightly said, I've been looking at it as a "nail problem" with Poser as the "hammer," since I own it and somewhat know how to use it.
I've considered a lot of different options. Even some type of rotoscoping or matching software (like Syntheyes?) to redo the fight scene with others while still making it appear the original "stars" are involved. Again, I know this is getting into Peter Jackson type stuff. But then again we're just having fun here and it does not have to be perfect.

Things are coming along rather well. The poses I have tried with the figures are matching the old footage pretty well, thanks to the advice you all have lended! Post processing in Premiere has helped with the blend.
Now I am on to designing the hair for the figures...

Yes I have seen Kill Bill. I'd rather go for the convincing fake...even if it isn't going to be too convincing, lol.
