Geez, it's just like the one I remember my dad having when I was a kid and we'd watch the pictures and eat popcorn... Cool! Thanks!!

Thank, Marque and TT. I'm off to the link you posted to download. I just wanted to make sure it was a valid free offer from Daz3d and not some warez or pirated copy. igohigh - Thanks, too. I'll go check the MP for the morph pack. (and the Gremlin armor I saw one time a while back, too). Thanks!

Thread: Is Win Zip supposed to compress the file size? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, but... Binary files like graphics - textures, bump-maps, etc., don't compress very much because of their nature. Text files, on the other hand, really shrink down when zipped. The zipped "whole" should be smaller in total byte size than the unzipped collection of all the files together. Also, keep in mind that zipping is as much a way of compressing files as it is a way of making a whole bunch of files more easily 'transported' together. If all the files you're zipping are graphics, you're just not going to see much compression.

Above is a closer-up of the tanto. Both the tanto and aikuchi have unsheathed and sheathed versions, plus a seperate sheath prop. Weapons are smart parented to the right hand. Sheaths parented to the left hand. Sheathed versions are not parented.

Cool! Thank you. I will check those out. I had seen Dial-a-Tile but wasn't sure if there was some setting in P4/PP to do it also and had just missed it.

Can't argue with littlechris here, Mac out-does Windows hands down on most everything (99.9% ?) But if you are using windows, XP is the better choice over ME. Best advice I can give is don't try to UPGRADE. Upgrading has historically been frought with peril in windows. If you switch to XP, wipe out your old ME and then do the install of XP. I've been running XP for several months now and only locked up once. Using Task Manager I was able to recover from that one lock up and continue. ** I would recommend that you get some personal firewall software. Get it for 2 reasons: 1. to keep bad things out. 2. to keep XP from constantly reaching out and talking to its buddy servers at Microsoft. WinXP Explorer, its "auto-update" thingy, WinXP MediaPlayer, and several other things try to reach out and connect to various microsoft servers. They say they're "checking for and auto-downloading updates", but it really slowed my system down whenever I'd go online (especially with our crappy phone lines where I live). I downloaded and installed Tiny Personal Firewall. It's free and does a great job. I use it as much to keep others out and to keep XP from reaching out. As for Poser on XP, I've had no trouble and it works great. Despite my complaint about XP "reaching out" on its own, I'm happy with XP (and my firewall).

Neat! I like the dust-scuffing up around their feet - good effect on that. And the expression on the face of the alien judge(?) is just perfect. The texturing on the bodies also looks like it's got dust and smudges on it from the ground (same color as the ground looks like). I like this one. Good Job!
