No way do I let anyone have monthly acess to my card...and I have heard more horror stories about Pay Pal than I care to mention. So Daz is the one looseing out. I spend a lot of money on this stuff....and the credit card company charges the same thing when I purchase stuff here,,,poser world....or where ever. That is the cost of doing business. Why would a charge for 100 dollars be any different than what they charged me for Mike or Vicly and all the stuff that had to go with it. But if that is the way they do business so be it.

I recently tried buying a one year sub to Platinum Club. I used the same card I have been using to puchase hundreds of dollars of products. Now Daz informs me that they can't use the card to pay for Platinum Club...I have to use Pay pal. Planty of money in the bank...no problems with the card. So I am curious if anyone else has this problem. Seems odd....I have bought close to 6000 dollars worth of computers...and untold sums for graphic programs....no problem with the card....so why is Daz getting an attitude all of a sudden. I can stop buying from them in an instant.

I own Maxons Body Paint also...looked like an incredable program. But was really bummed because there a very few (2 that I have found) tutorials about it. The manual is a typical manual. Not user friendly. So it would be great if you could make this A 3D paint forum instead of just deep paint.

Maybe it was a morph tutorial or something I saw, and it was about two years ago that I saw this thing.

Thanks to all for the information...at least now I know I am not doing something wrong. It is just the way the program works. I think the MATS are still better than going thru all the loading of textures..especially for V3. I just thought a MAT showuld just load the texture and I could be on my merry way. And I know now I have not frozen up when it repeatedly asks for a texture I can see is there. Many thanks to all of you for answereing.

oh...and I didn't mention it...I am using poser 4

it is asking for a texture....the box pops up with the texture it is asking for right there...and if I click on the texture to apply...the box comes right back. It is like it does not recognize something in the MAT that makes it apply. If I cancel the pop up..sometimes it will go ahead and apply the mat...

I think it would be an excellet idea if people createing models for poser would put a descriptive name and use on them...so when you go looking for something you can find it. I have a lot of stuff with arcane symbols or names...and can never figure out what it is. This gets real fun when you go into geometries...where nothing works right if it isn't there....and you can't figure that out cuz you can't find th *&^%$)) thing.

Photoshop is a ram hungry beast. I have never had it run right with less than 512mgs of ram. Or you have to work on real tiny picturea. Also you have to make sure your scratch files are set right. If all you have is one hard drive then you have to set C as you scratch. I run a second hard drive, 80gig, partitioned in to three drives. So scratch is set to the three partitions first and the 4th scratch goes to C drive. By the way I use 6.5 most of the time..I hate vers 7....so there may be some idiosyncrasy in 7 I am not aware of. I would go to Adobes site and check with their forums. They are also very helpful.

Yeah....That is what have been doing with photoshop. I find it tough to duplicate the settings on the head sometimes..like the head maps are darker for some reason.

I would love to find a nice "pale" texture. Everytime I buy one and render it the outcome is always and orange or yellow because I have the light turned up so high trying to get "pale". I even added blue light and end up with blue people with orange shadows. Hope you texture is the "right stuff".
