OOPS! Its S3D, not 3ds. I have yet to find a way to conver them to obj. I can do most of the others, but Micrografx seems to have a lock on Simply3D. Too bad...lots of great models.

Hello Nance! Just the "essentials", i.e. tables, chairs, you know...basic furnishings. There seems to be tons of weapons & instruments of mass destruction/torture out there, but no general household furniture...unless I overlooked something somewhere. Had I the time or adeptness, I would make my own, but being barely ept at rendering, that is beyond me, so I look for ready-mades for the time being.

YOW! You-all have been a great help! Things are up & running & I'm actually starting to have fun. Yessssssss. A few minor problems, one of which is: a few characters installed but won't load due to "out of memory". I just upgraded to 128M of RAM...what's up here? I may be out of memory, but my computer shouldn't be! Thanks again, Wayne

Gadzooks! It appears that I have a bit of work to do. I have unzipped all of my downloaded files to 2 FULL 120Mb disks! Now it appears as though I'll have to move them one at a time to Poser's files....or...can they be moved as folders containing more than one file?? Hey! You all have helped a lot. I'm a 54 year-old computer moron who's stumbling with what seems to be a complex program. Thanks for your help, but don't stop now! Wayne

Thanks Guys...keep 'em coming..I need all the help I can get. I understand what you are telling me, but can't find out how to do it. The manual does not seem to tell how to get things from outside Poser4 into the various folders...or is it me missing the point? Wayne

Thanks, Wolfie! I don't have PSP or Photoshop. I do have PicturePublisher, but don't believe it deals with raw files. I'll mess with some of my format converters & see what happens. Any other non PSP or Photoshop suggestions?
