I was lucky enough to test this package, and it is simply amazing! The camera angles and lights are extremely well thought-out, the poses are the superior quality we expect from Firebirdz, and it renders exquisitely, even in Poser 4! It IS very finely detailed both in model and texture, so I recommend having at least 512 MB of memory installed. If I can distract my family with a DVD this afternoon, I might be able to put the finishing touches on a render and post it. :-) Keepin' my fingers crossed!

Yes, I have notified Renderosity, as it appears to be a glitch in their system. How frustrating! The entries at the bottom ARE from the Poe contest. For some reason, the system linked the winners to entries from the Renderosity logo contest. In the mean time, all the entries are visible, so you can remember the winning entry NUMBER and go to it that way. My apologies! Wish there was something more I could do!

Welll.... The contest is open to anybody and any program, but you're right, predominantly Poser merchants volunteered their wares as prizes, though the invitation was posted for EVERY merchant. And it's not ALL 3D products in the prize list (though admittedly MOST of the prizes are poser-related). LadyBea32 has a LOT of seamless texture packages that would be a prize choice from her, same with Lucie and serpentis. Dofijntjes has a nice selection of photograph packages that she would offer in lieu of Gothic Kids. You could still enter, and if you won, keep the 2D prizes, and have the 3D prizes sent to a friend g

Well, supposedly the man's identity is unknown ;-), and he does it on Poe's birthday in January, but yes, someone did it this year, and someone has done it every year for the past 54 or 55 years. Isn't there a three-day celebration? And the unknown visitor is a highlight of the party, so I think the tradition will continue.

No one has yet guessed the correct combination of textures though... Very close. Very close.

I just want to throw in here that every merchant that I know of who has completely moved their stores has taken ALL of their records with them. They downloaded and printed out every record of every purchaser of every product in their store. So if an update becomes available, the merchants will notify ALL purchasers.
