huh, dunno if it's available on the net, and I don't have a tv-video card... if I get to run across that ad anywhere on the web, be sure I'll post the link here.

glad I saved you some work... as we're talking on the other thread, I'm not sure about the viability of making an eye prop, at least I know I don't know how to make it... weird thing here is that your doaeyes always look really bright to me, and I don't do anything! maybe it's the way I mix things... and yes pakled, the I darkened the skin of the characters precisely to make the hair and eyes stand out more... plus, they're surfers, so that's why that guy is so smashed up and the girl is your typical tanned bleach blonde surfer girl... about the bright eyes... I guess all I do is use ONLY spotlights, one right in front of the characters faces, and one on each side overhead and at about 45 degrees/135 degrees... all white spot lights... but still, i always got your eyes very bright, no matter what... maybe you're doing something wrong with the lighting on your end...

Lyrra was a "she"?? I had no idea, and actually I had no idea about the existence of rendervisions (after finding renderosity and renderotica, I think i was done with 'render' stuff)... I join the cry out for Lyrra's departure... I think her work was fair and exemplary... I'll follow her to rendervisions, and I'll taje the opportunity to take a look at how things are over there... see ya there!
Thread: height OK.... what about the weight? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
heh, cool image... and yeah, we're going a bit off topic here... I understand about importing stuff into 3dsmax (I do have it), but I was not actually looking to know a body mass, but rather the weight of any given character... if there's no other way, then I'd have to figure the body mass, but i guess that's too much trouble for what i want to do... I guess I'll just go with the time-tested formula of the wild guess... until someone invents a "poser weight scale" or something...

hmm, does this need the "nudity" tag?? if so, i forgot it, sorry, here it is.

cool link, but you're right, I'd have to inverse the process to get the weight of my characters, so if it's height + lbs = BMI, then what I'd have to do is height - X = lbs, where X is the BMI... so I just need to find out the body mass of my characters, which leaves me back at square 1... thanks, by the way.

xmas too!! well, those are definately different eyes, kind of hard to get used to when you've been using the regular doaeyes for as long as I've been doing it... but they certainly look good... I would also wait for an eyeprop before you start making hundreds of mat files... why don't you start posting your requirements and then we'll see who could do it... keep up the good work... I hope stephanie 3.0 shares the eye texture of v3 and M3... I'll let you know as soon as I have it.

well, there you go some info... I realized doing the smart props is gonna be more difficult... iw as just thinking of a regular sphere with textures, but I forgot about the cornea, pupil and all that... I'll probably give the simple sphere with textures a try, then see if I can move to the more complicated stuff
Thread: creating Eye smart props | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
hmm, i hadn't thought of the cornea, pupil and eyewhite... Im not sure I can handle that... but thanks for the info... I'll try your link, LD!
Thread: Nadya with DOAyes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
oh, Nadya is a new geometry created by Nesterenko... and by "new", I mean "original", because Nadya has been around for a long time now... you can find her at 3dcommune.com .. maybe you'd like her, because het eye textures are a single file, just like Mayadoll... but it's a really weird eye texture.
