In poser 4 you can delete the rsr file in the geometry folder.(Only these). Sometimes they get corrupted and cause the out of memory message. Also make sure you have the memory update for Poser4/Artist installed. As far as actually increasing the memory for Poser you can't. You can adjust your virtual memory though.

don't know if you checked this or not, but you need to enable "use displacement maps" in you render settings. If it's not checked the displacement map won't render.

you would bring the texture you are going to use into your 2d program,( PS or PSP ) and then overlay the tatoo you want, adjust it to scale, etc., and save it out . Then just apply that texture you saved to you fig.

Do you have Norton's antivirus? When I had it I couldn't download stuff from Studio Maya.I had to disable it.

Are the textures where poser is looking for them? If you moved them into a different folder then you need to change it to the correct path of where the textures are.

I just went and downloaded MPE version 3.12 and it installed fine. Are you on a PC or Mac? If I remember correctly this is a PC software. There is also a tutorial link there on the page to help get you going.
