I have to say I've tried everything to get proper HDR lighting out of vue and it only half works while it gives you general overall lighting it doesn't cast long shadows for the light source. I'm not sure if EXR works either .

Yes it sort of works but you get poke throughs.

Any transparency maps and I'm afraid DS just falls over, I still don't know why they haven't fixed this maybe it just the render engine they can't get around. So hair or fibermesh better off rendering in poser, in some case I found 15min poser and 6 hours in DS, so be careful what you render !

Yes the Creation Machine is just about there the new DSON format is working well you can totally save a scene with character props textures lights and camera all preloaded, so now any of the poser formats can be switch to DS so much easier.
I've done a scene with the Poser War-Eagle 4 of them with Daz mats applied and scales and positioned ready to use of cause you will need to have the War-Eagle for that part to work but it give you an idea of what you can do, you could have a premade genesis character all setup texture morphs cloths and poses, and with one click it will load it into the scene all ready to go it's going to save a lot of time !

Well had to wait for Daz 4.5r2 to finish the other stuff so have just about got this one done called the Creation-Machine for both DS and Poser. Here a Daz Render.

Yes getting into the weight mapping now.
Boots and Suit have the following shapes morphs done.
V5 V5SM V4 V3 A4 TheGirl4 and Hitomi
But I will have to wait for DS4.5 to get the all clear.
