Thread: vue not importing all items in my poser scene | Forum: Vue
No, not confusing. Thanks for explaining what dial is. Vue just couple of months ago started to develope inport Poser in PZ3 format. But we still can't import Poser dynamic hair and clothes. And dial I think is a Poser only command. So, I'm quiet sure it won't work in Vue either. I think you would be better off importing the daggers saperately in Vue and compare which one suits the scene. Vue is indeed a great program, easy to use; unfortunately it does have limitations! regards!

I am not familiar with the term "dial". So, my suggestion is based on what I understand. Best options are, import your files as much separate as possible. Then assemble them inside Vue. Secondly, if Vue is giving you errors on spear & such (on PZ3 I presume) try importing them seperately as OBJ or 3DS etc. format. Would be great if you can post a picture of what error you are seeing. Again, I don't know what "dial" is, but Vue will import any object if the format is supported and not corrupted. Hope it helps.

Well, my point of view on this matter is... "Terragen like landscape" is nothing but ONLY land, sea & sky, that is why they look different! That is why it's I think this is a handicap software, it creates ONLY beautiful no-mans-lands. You can achieve that in Vue at no time and very easily. The problem presists somewhere else ... after you create "terragen like landscape" in vue, you have so many options of vegitations and objects, you start adding them in your scene. And before you know your "terragen like landscape" becomes "vue like scenery"! Look at "kenwas"s gallery (the link above), I'm sure terragen artists would die to do these kind of landscapes.Thread: Thank You for ALL! | Forum: Vue

MPete is very fast with answering. :-) I absolutely agree with him though, import everything separately that can be separated and place them back in Vue. And changing them into VOB, I think is a splendid idea; I never thought of that before! Memorize these four words, "group objects, hide layers!" Makes Vue much faster. Well, I guess I didn't add anything new to the discussion, rather agreeing with MP! :-) No wonder they call him "MightyPete"! :-)

Well, I have imported OBJs sizes from 95-110 MB. So, if you are importing your Poser models as OBJ, you can stretch the limit. Plus, bigger file size of Vue scene itself has it's toll, I'm sure you already know that. Meanwhile, Vue gets a little unstable after importing several PZ3 files, despite their sizes. So, rather then size, the question may be better said as how many PZ3s YOUR Vue can handle?
