Do you mean the namihei stuff from the April Fool thread or is this something else? When I click on the LIMITED tag on BATLAB's site I just get a "Forbidden" error message.

I worked for a huge publisher for 7 years and many of their print runs (school textbooks) are around 4000-7000. I've seen how they work out their figures before a project is approved. If you don't think you're going to sell 10,000 copies, there's no point in printing that many even if the unit cost is lower. You'd end up paying for thousands of books you'll never sell (books that cost money to warehouse) and your overall profit on the project is lower.

because it's a competition, no? A bit swings-and-roundabouts as to which is the better approach. Actually, if you pay for something with no guarantee of services rendered, I'd rather call it a "gamble".

"Sent to at least 2,000 ad agencies in US and Europe with your contact details..." The problem I have with this is that regardless of the 2000 ad agencies, there's only a tiny chance your artwork will be in the book in the first place. You've still paid your $20... for nothing. >Yes, I read that, but guess what: I seriously doubt they will send 2000 HARDCOPY books to Art Directors. >Sounds to me more along the line of sending 2000 e-books, hmmm ? The included artists get a collector's edition, which is hard copy - this implies that the regular book is paperback(??). I would hope they wouldn't send a huge, unsolicited PDF ebook to 2000 email addresses!

I'm confused - do chosen artists get any payment other than one copy of the Collector's Edition? $20 submission fee is exhorbitant, by the way.
Thread: How to get rid of V3's breast rim thingy? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for your replies, guys. This is going to be a character for distribution so I don't want to use magnets and morphs or postwork. I made these breasts (so to speak) using only body dials, no breast or chest dials. Anyway, I have fiddled a bit in line with your suggestions and it's looking better. Thanks again!

Wellll... I have two accounts. I checked the available info first and couldn't find any policy against it. The reason was that I wanted to standardise my handle across sites before becoming a merchant, but I didn't want to delete this handle with its now substantial gallery. There doesn't seem to be a way to just change your handle on the My Profile screen.

This is cube, though, not a plane - should I do several planes instead? Or maybe add a plane inside the cube? Also not happy with the water's edge against her ribs (the above is draft mode but it's like that in production mode too). Volumetric lights were going to be my next project!

Aha! Okay, I'll try that. Meanwhile I'm going with Ajax's settings from the other thread, using a cube. However, I'm confused because it looks like he used a square rather than a 3d shape. Attempting to render now.

Drips and rings? Hang on, I don't even know how to use these shader things I downloaded yet! :)

But how do I morph a solid prop to look like water? Or are the shaders realistic enough on a flat surface? (I have downloaded some from RDNA and here but I've no idea how to use mt5... have to figure it out.) This one is just a plane.
