The leaf presets are just regular square textures without a mask to indicate mapping. So what you're saying is that if I can find the proper mask for the leaf shape than all I have to do is remap my textures to that shape and they'll map properly onto the leaf model? So now my question is this: where can I find the proper mask? Are there different ones for the panoply of leaf shapes in the tree editor? Thanks for your help!

Oh, that's a different problem related to Victoria. She actually has two layers to her eye. One is just like a thin sphere that encapsulates the whole eye. If you browse through the meshes in that model you will find the sphere. You can delete it or turn it to a 100% transparent object with a nice small specular spot to make the eyes look shiny. You will see the real eye textures underneath.

I've had this same problem in Bryce 4 where I was applying textures (such as for transparent hairstyle elements) had the textures start hopping all over! I'd apply the transmap to the hair object only and BANG Bryce would apply it to the entire model. It can get very frustrating very quickly.

Thank you for your help and your excellent demonstration. Like a previous poster a couple of weeks ago this seems to be more of a "glow" feature than anything else, and if glowing light was needed it might be more realistic using "True Ambience" than other methods. Other than that it seems limited. I will wait and see though because Bryce-ians come up with so many clever uses for their tools.

Yes I am. Here is a link to a place with an image rendered with "global illumination." There is no way for me to contact the artist to ask him what exactly he means. P.S. I am not new to Bryce, been using it since version two. http://www.bryce5.net/gallerybrowseshow.asp?PHOTOID=78Thread: July Challange, Place votes here | Forum: Bryce
#2, the Close Encounters render. The War of the worlds one is fantastic, but the Close Encounters render truly captured the feeling of the scene from the film.

Thanks for the info. I'd already downloaded it and found it couldn't really be used for much without mangling the face.

I've checked both those places but didn't see anything that would move eyes closer together.

Number four is the one I was looking for. I've tried morphin other styles but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for posting the examples.
