looks good. You might want to try rerendering the poser with motion blur on to get a smoother look

That looks a little too high-tech for my TI-994a. I guess I'll finally have to break down and get the "Extended Basic" cartridge.

Looks good, Anthony. In case you wanted add more detail, Flaming Pear makes some excellent space type photoshop plugins. There are free trials for the star/nebula one and the planet making one. I can't remember the names. www.flamingpear.com

a metallic object like this over such a highly reflective environment like snow and ice isn't going to have as dark a shadow on the bottom like you have now. Try to lighten the shadow up, or shoot a lower intensity blue light up from below to simulate some ambient light. Or...use the ray tracing in Poser 5 when it comes out :)

LOTR...waiting until November for the edition with 30 extra minutes that supposedly gives it an R rating with 6 hours of extras, not the measly 2 hours of this week's edition.

ok...I guess I shouldn't have said anything because now when I say I don't have a working scanner, you guys/girls are all going to get mad at me. If no one else posts a scan, I'll try and snap a pic tonight with my digital camera.

ooooh you were the lucky ones with your hats n' such. we had it so hard we didn't even 'ave heads! It wasn't until Poser that I got one. Even then, it was 1.0 and I couldn't blink.

First of all, I was surprised that CL even took to the time to patch Poser AT ALL. Many times when a product changes hands, that product stays as is until a next version is released. Look at all the other Metacreations properties that were bought....no patches, no updates, only next versions that are only now coming out.

It's standard, anyway, for software companies to hit a certain date and say no more updates, it's the next version or nothing. I pointed out a problem with Sonic Foundry Sound Forge to Sonic Foundry regarding Windows Media output that they didn't know existed and they said they would fix it in the next version. Doesn't help me until I upgrade, but that's just the fact of development.

Well, I don't know what else I can say that hasn't been said, but as a user of Poser since version 2 I've enjoyed seeing its evolution.

When I saw the news today on digitalmediadesigner.com I was stoked to say the least in the features listed. When I found the thread on here with the screenshots...well I came back about 3 times to look at them again. This looks absolutely incredible and I can't wait to get the rest of the details and to gladly give CL my upgrade money.
