I agree - this is very annoying! But I understand the post above as well. Perhaps this needs it's own category of Freestuff.

Don't sell anything to this guy on eBay. He never pays - and always wants you to send the item first.

Well, I am glad for all of you that buy him at this price, but I feel really ripped off because I bought him for about twice this.

I must not be understanding or it is not working correctly for me. I clicked two items that are no longer for sale by checking the box of each, then clicked a remove link. Nothing happened. I tried this twice.
I like the idea of being able to batch oraganize this list - but I fear there is a bug.
I am running a fast comuter and have Vista. (It would not be the first time Vista has caused me problems - might be that.)
Thanks. I love all the improvements.

My partner is a programmer at MS - so I got Vista from him and have my own personal helpdesk sitting the comouter right next to me. All that said, I have expert help avaibale to me. . . but we still had a lot of problems with Vista (in general) and Poser.
It is not Vista that is really the problem . . . it is that so much of the other software that it needs to interact with is not ready for it - there are not updates.
I could only get Poser to work when I switched away from OpenGL in Poser to the alternative. This took weeks to find. I do not know if OpenGL now works. There have been many more glitches. . . .
I agree - wither avoid it all together or wait for a year.
Don't be a Beta tester for MS. . . .
PS - My partner and all of our other developer friends at MS all moved back to XP on their own computers because Vista was too slow for them.

Vista has been nothing but problems for me. I regret the day I installed it - different issues pop up all the time.
I solved my problems with Poser 7 and Vista by choosing SreeD as the render agent over OpenGL. Do this and it may solve your problem. OpenGL, sadly, is not presently compatible with Vista.
This is what worked for me. Best Wishes to you.

RuntimeDNA has some. I like the Billy hair - good for a western character epecailly. They have a lot of cool M2 things. Al of the pridcuts at the link can be applied to M2. Enjoy, SeattletimThread: First Apollo Maximus freebie now available | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I have had a variety of problems with Poser and Vista and they seemed to all clear up when I turned off the OpenGL. My partner is a programmer at MS and got me the copy of Vista and now regrets it. I would encourage anyone to avoid it until version 2. I don't think the problem is Vista - it is that so much of the other things that Vista relies on are not ready for it. Change your render engine away from openGL and you should be fine.

I use and recommed Poser Porter. It is very easy. Drag the zip file onto the scare window that opens on your desk top and the files go were they are intended (as long as the zip contains a runtime folder - and most current model files do.) This is very easy. I hated hand loading files - it was a total drag - this is very helpful - and FREE! Check the link (PS - I use it with Poser 7 and 6 - it is updated.)Thread: Michael 2 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I totally love M2. There is something classic about him. And, yes, he is easy to work with.
Personally, I have had no luck trying to convert textures between M2 and M3 with the UTC at Daz. I love some of my M2 textures and wanted to use them on M3, but it never worked for me.
These are the realistic textures that I love, in order:
King (link above)
Theo ( I bought mine here)
Antonio ( a wonderfully expressive character! very well done and a great package that includes poses and facila expressions - very worth it).
Wolfgang (I bought mine here. He is a unique character - a stocky guy that could be a villian or a king. Wonderful and unique character.)
and Zane
Enjoy!
