increase the percent of Global transparency. grayed out effects panel will be active. click on Variable transparency that should bring out the func ed I hope that helps Ozan

Thanks a lot everybody for the nice comments. I appreciate it. I am hoping to complete the missing pages, talk about more on composition and add more tutorials in the coming week. This is a great community and sharing the experiments and knowledge is the only to make it even better. (whew, did I ever say a mouthful?) Dizzie, although the technique is pretty simple, you kinda have to know the basics to get around. simple things like resize, rotate, align etc. If you are beginner, I suggest you take your time a bit and explore the program. Don't rush into things. you will only get frustrated. There are great tutorials here on "tutorials" section as well. don't hesitate to ask if you are stuck on somehting :)

Thanks Guitta, At the end of the tutorial there is a link to a sample rendered image. Actually, most of either the wireframe or the sample rendered images appear as links on the page. Maybe I should under the links to make them more noticable? Thanks for the feedback Ozan

belive it or not I was writing a tutorial about it tonite. It should be ready tomorrow. what you can do is you create your cube and then create a terrain. align it to the edge you want and then create boolean differences along the edges. Ozan

This is a very controversial image. The book could have been any of the "holy books" around. I like the idea a lot. You sure seem to grasp the idea of "religion". OK let's not get into political issues a lot. I'm not too keen on the reflective surface. The white around the edges of the book are too "white" if you know what I mean. It took me a while to figure out the gun there. Since the gun is the key figure here I think you might want to make it stand out a little bit more. Those are just my opinios :) Like I said before, this is a very powerful image. Great imagination. Keep it up! Ozan
