lol. I can agree Gill too from what I have read in others galleries as I don't have any Male's posted in mine. It does seem ridiculous to me too But in understanding the male mind(slightly) I can understand why they are this way. lol. Men think of Sex on a daily basis at least 5 to 10 times AS many times as woman. They tend to associate certain things like nudity w/ those thoughts. lol. So being as that they are so preocupied w/ those thoughts it makes sense that when they see nudity they tend to automatically think of Sex and if it is a male they tend to go on the offense/ deffense (I don't like Guys, ect...) kick. As Woman we are not usually so preocupied w/ these thoughts as men. And As Girls we act diffently than men. Think about it... We go to the bathroom together, change clothes in front of each other, ect... And think nothing of it. Imagine if a guy asked another guy to acompany him to the bathroom! ? lol. They would probablly say WHAT? " Are you Gay Dude or what? " lol. Guys don't ask other guys how thier butt looks in a new pair of jeans or if a new shirt makes them look Hot! lol. We do though. And as I said We are not so hung up on and obsessed w/ Sexual thoughts as they are, Therefore, we can look at and appreciate the body in art. Men are normally too busy wondering/thinking about Sex to look at these pics the same way as we do. And even in this community where many are anonymous the men still worry about another man thinking that they are Gay simply cause of a comment on a digital art pic! IMO MOST men are superficial Babies that are always associating just about everything w/ Sex and inuendos. uuuuhhhhh... Don't yell at me Guys! I said Most, not all! I agree. Asking to buy and offering to sell is pretty much the same thing. If I pre-order, they get my money(discounted or not). But If I get the product and it doesn't do what I need it to, I am pretty much screwed. IMO. It would be like if someone said be the first to buy this new soap and get it for 90% off! Then I get 20 cases of it and find out I am allergic! Well, then the soap would be 100% worthless to me and even though I paid 10% of the normal price I would be pretty much 100% screwed! lol! I don't care if it is 90% off, if it isn't of use, I don't want or need it. Ya know? And as far as the charging not being done till the product releases... Well, it says you have 96 hrs to cancel the pre-order. How can they say that if there not spose to charge you till March or April? Rhonda

"Did you see a thread yesterday...giving David Aiko's morphs too ? " Yes, I saw the thread but didn't look at it. Making Aiko into a male was not my first priorty right now.lol. But it is interesting cause the people at Daz one of the things that would not work would be V3 and M3 morphs because of the difference in the cut of the mesh and extra body parts for the females, even though the vertices are the same #, that they are not distributed quite the same. I would imagine that some of them probably do work though. "This is very interesting - can this only be done with morph manager, and where would I get this? And is it possible to share the CR2 with those that have all the required installs?? " Any Cr2 editor would most likely work Or you can edit one w/ wordpad (cringing) if you are really knowledgable and have a lot of time. :D You used to be able to get it here but now you will have to go to: http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlutility.html I am not sure about sharing the Cr2's. Use to, you could. But I think some things were changed when some of the newer meshes came out. I am gonna check into that. I looked at the cr2 in text and it don't have absolute references so YES I would say it can be done But can we do it Legally? hmmmm, I have never used Wings so I can't comment on it. I have attempted to use free vers of Amapi and TS and couldn't understand them at all. I did however get lucky finally when I got a free vers of C4D, (C4D 6 CE) a while back. Only limitation was the render size. Since I wanted to learn modeling, I didn't mind that. It came Chock full of stuff too It had a complete Manual and a Tutorial Manual w/ Very detailed lessons and the tut proj files too. TS came w/ nothing. And when I registered they tried to Sell me the Manual! lol. I recently took a class at the eclectic academy and found out that to my suprise, the modeling prog they were supplying was the same one I had, C4d. That was ok w/ me. lol. It was 20.00 I think for the class and those who didn't have the prog already got it free. Now I just heard they are giving a full complete vers of Amapi 6 away w/ the Latest Copy of 3dWorld. The title indicated nothing about presidential elections or specific political parties. I simply went to look at the contest info, not knowing that I was going to be excluded from entering. It isn't a matter of reading what I do or do not want to hear. It is a matter of reading contest requirements... Which exclude me totally so I did waste my time didn't I? As far as when you said this: "If a person makes a picture here at RR that shows a white family picnicking, and the caption on it is "White is Right" Join the Klu Klux Klan. It would be pulled faster then you can click. Or a picture of a gay man tied and beaten to a post that has the caption "Kill all Queers". These opinions may be acceptable in some circles, but not here and not by me." That is ridiculous! I would not condone anything like that. You read selectively I see. I said that I believe hostile, mudslinging, attack images should not be allowed PERIOD. No matter who does them. People need to use a little common sense. Obviouslly the types of images you mentioned above are way past the norm and the tolerable limits! I also mentioned in my previous post that I do not align myself w/ any one party. I vote for republican and Democrat alike. I have actually never voted for a Rep President so this will be a first. I have only voted for them in other political positions...like congress, state, and local elections. You seem rather hostile and that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to tell you how your contest and it's wording in the topic made me feel (when I went to read about it only to find I was excluded). I am an open minded free willed thinking person. I think oppinions are wonderful and do not want anyone to Shut up. As long as those oppinions arn't hostile and mean. I don't want to hear people calling names and such. Just the issues please. And I don't want anyone trying to tell me what to think just because they happen to be well known (like Celebrities.) I don't think that you should be bullied into anything. Again, it just seemed misleading to me. I click on a contest headline only to find out that I am excluded. Again, I vote for the person. If the Edwards were the Presidential candidate instead of Kerry, we may not have had this conversation at all because I may not have felt excluded. I am not childesh or illogical. I assure you I am 40 yrs old and think everything through. In fact... I pick things apart too much most times. I don't want you to stop your contest. Just wanted you to take a better look at the title in the forum thread maybe? If not the word Democrat put in maybe the word Presidential or even Political???? As it stands it really indicates none of those. As far as the other contest's go.. I knew nothing about them. I may not participate in them either though for the same reasons mentioned above. Hi there, I would like to say Thanks, But no thanks. And I believe you need to change your contest title to : " Democratic Artist for Change" . If you had, I wouldn't have wasted my time reading this. You say that : "policy of some sites to demand a fair and balanced representation of opinions. This is not always for the best. Imagine, a Christian contest getting Atheist images. Or a pro gay contest getting anti gay marriage pictures. All things being equal are not always equal. " But I don't buy that. You could set a rule that the images cannot be hostile or mud slinging. That the be Pro (whatever) and not Attack images. I personally find this contest excluding and offensive. I do not dedicate or swear my loylty to any one party. I vote for the person. I voted for Clinton both times he was elected. Last election I voted for a Rep house Rep and a Democratic Senator. I will probablly vote for Bush this time. But will most likely vote for the democratic Govenor candidate in my state. That being said, I hope you have fun w/ your private, exclusive contest.
