No, I had not tried that. I have just picked up my own copy of Vue 6.5 Infinite as one of my fellow Maxers has informed me that there looked to more options in this one while still having the cross program functionality as xTreme. After poking around--while I was waiting for my Vue 101 DVD from the Gnomon Workshop--I am starting to agree with this as my buddy only had xtreme V6.0 and it seemed very unstable with larger scenes in general--even some of the samples included with the program--whereas Infinite did not have any trouble with the same scene.
My helper in the Max forum brought me up to speed enough in the Max forum to convince me to take the plunge and purchase the program for myself and also showed me a fw things to do so I can get all the bells and whistles of Vue in my renders and still have the ground mesh available so I can animate on top of it and have it integrate in post as well as camera match.
My question to you, though, regarding exporting the whole scene--as I have not tried this at all yet--is this: does the vegetation come over as well as the atmosphere and if so, does it retain the animation of like the wind blowing?
Thanks for the help.

I must say that I am very pleased with the animation. As toolz said, the sliding feet is about the only problem I saw with the whole thing. I especially liked the music. It was very original and was a nice change from the typical music used for such things. I am working on a project for my own demo reel and am looking for music I can use. Maybe we can collaborate on that in the future. Let me know if you are interested! ScottThread: Need a conversion from M2 texture to M3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually I own the Michael Texture, and you can contact the creator of it as well. You can get a hold of Magnet through the Renderosity marketplace. The texture is his Avery 2 Texture Set. He and I had an exchange some years ago. I talked with him yesterday and he is no longer in the character creation business. Now, he is doing avatars.

I have the program, but the plugins required are going to run 30 or so dollars. I was just hoping to get around that. I paid for the tesxture by magnet and maybe I should see if he could convert it before I do anything else. TNX!

I know, but I only have the 1 texture and that is it. I owulf feel stupid buying the two needed plugins for just a one-time use.

ssalter, This would be if you exported Vicky from Poser to use in 3D Studio Max. This would allow you to create the character in Poser and then work with it in 3D Studio Max to take advantage of Max's greater power. jaybutton, this would be for Max 4.0 and above with Character Studio 3.0. I doubt it would work with any previous versions. But I cannot say for sure since 4 is what I have.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really appreciate it! I know hter are still a lot of lighting issues to be worked out, but all in due time. I think I will keep the pic and frame. My wife and I like those too much to get rid of them--The pic in the frame is one I did earlier called Violin Dreams and I like the atmosphere it creates. Maybe I will need to try working on a different frame for it??? Well, wil post when I have it completed.

Have you run scandisk lately? Or Norton Disk Doctor? Also, check the RSR files on the items you are having trouble with. You may also wish to reinstall poser over what you have. You will only lokse any custom UI settings. Everything else would stay as it was. thenodemaster
