Andreas always has something nice to say, he's quick with funny comments and wonderful about making someone else feel as if their photo is is the best he has ever seen. We miss you already and hope you will heal quickly. Sunshine and prayers from Nevada, Jackie

Wow! Thank You! Made my day! It's been some time since I have consistently posted photos. Life just keeps getting in the way of my personal goals. I'm glad I got refocused. The personal reward feels fantastic. Thank you both so much for this weeks selection and thank all of you who have taken the time to offer comments, suggestions and kudos. They are very much appreciated. Happy 2006, Jackie

Thread: Thank you for the response. Maybe just one more? | Forum: Photography
I wondered about this and the feedback from my husband is he's "visually confused". Basically I should either have a freeform layout or an organized one with either all photos overlapping or none. I tend to agree with that. Any advice? He also pointed out the fact I did not use the histogram to keep the levels uniform in all the pics and he personally does not like the light background. I will be starting over from scratch so any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch! Jackie

I think they are ready to return to anywhere but where they are. I like what you have done by getting rid of the distracting background. Something on my list of "learn to do's". Great entry for the challenge, Have a fantastic week, Jackie

Damn! This is cool. You are talented and creative and although the whole explanation of how you did this is like me trying to read Arabic, I have faith that someday it will all come together. Thanks for your patience and support with me and "others" out there like me. Have a great week, J
Thread: Have I done it again??? | Forum: Photography
Your end result is beautiful! It shows not only you are a good photographer but you are creative, talented and have mastered your postwork program. Now having buttered you up and since this subject came up on another thread, I also think that if somone shows a photo with as much PW as has been done here, it should be clarified as such. Most people in this community do so but some seem to either think they can pass off something as an original or feel they only enhanced something that was already there. I don't think I'm a total purist but I am pretty traditional in my photography beliefs. Kind of old school I guess. Bottom line, I love your work and respect the fact you ask for opinions. You take digital photography to another level and I'll be happy if I ever learn half of what you know. Now, about your beaver problem, I used to run a marina on the San Joaquin Delta. We had to pay a pro to trap and "relocate" them every two years. They or their cousins, kids, aunts and grandparents always found their way back. Sorry about your trees :( Have a great week, Jackie
Thread: Critisism - I know, it's a known topic | Forum: Photography
My "novice" 2 cents... I joined Renderosity to get an idea of how I was doing with photography, learn from others and be challenged. I have received a couple of critique's (aside from those my father posted) and really appreciated the feedback. So, for all of you who may read this, when I say "Advice always welcome" or even when I forget to add it, I really do want advice, critique and honesty! I thought the "Your helpful comments for improving this image" meant just that but have since learned it's not always the case. It is fun when you get positive feed back but it is fulfilling when it comes from someone who's talent you really appreciate and admire. For me, a critique is welcome and becomes my challenge. So there you go. Now I'm off to view, maybe critique or just maybe appreciate what has been posted these past few days. Jackie
