Thread: How do you make realistic looking scars? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Guys, I really appreciate the input I'll do some playing around with your suggestions and see if I can get the look I'm aiming for. I'm a big fan of Frank Frazetta and Ken Kelly, I really like thier Conan depictions as a battle scared barbarian.

WOW! I mean WOOOOW! This is a fantastic model. This is my favourite D&D creature. I like this one better than the one used in the Dungeons & Dragons movie.

Thread: Thumbnails and transparency Heelllppppp !!!!! :o) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, When I make a thumbnail for a finished character I render it and save it as an image. I then use Paintshop pro to reduce the image size to 91x91 and save it to a Mac pict image. The I use the rsr/pict conversion program to make an rsr for the character and replace the one created by Poser. The conversion program used to be freely available but I have not seen it around. I have it but I don't know who created and I don't want distribute it without thier permission. If anybody knows who wrote it and they don't mind me distributing it I could email it to you or anybody else that wanted it. (Its very small)
Thread: Ray Dream question | Forum: Carrara
Thanks Guys! I am able to paste the other object into the mesh form modeler. So simple a solution, but it didn't occur to me at all. Thanks, Thorgrim
Thread: Ray Dream question | Forum: Carrara
Thanks for the help guys but that does not seem to be my problem. Maybe if I give more details on what I'm trying to do it will help. I want to take the mesh from one character and add the head of another. The neck and head don't match up so I want to modify the head or the neck so that they fit together and then weld them together. I'm tring to get the both the neck and the head into the mesh form modeler so I can do this but I seem to be able to only get one object at a time even after using the group tool. I don't want to export the neck and head as one object because I want to be able to use existing morph targets for the head and I'm worried that the vertices will get messed up when I seperate them. I own an older version of MAX as well but I'm not sure how to do this in MAX. I'm used to using Ray Dream for Morph targets because I like the attraction tool. I'm open to any ideas. Thanks, Thorgrim

That's an interesting idea Dave, How did you get the P4NM Head to line up with the neck on the Muscle Man? Thanks, Thorgrim
Thread: How do you create blink morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have Subdivided the mesh for the Zygote Muscle Man to make it more detailed for a character I want to create. So any of the original morph targets will not work. I'm thinking of recreating my mesh leaving the head as is so that I can use the existing morph targets. Other than the blink morphs I beleave I can recreate Zygote orignal morphs and my orignal ones as well. Thanks, Thorgrim
Thread: My Poser Character is invisible - HELP | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
When I opened the Obj file in Ray Dream I scaled it up. (I tested this by saving a test obj file and importing it back into Poser and It looked okay) But I guess when you create a character in Poser the Scaleing takes effect. Because my chracter is there it's just gigantic if I turn down the Scale in Poser on the body I can find it but it's still pretty big. Sorry to take your time. I'll redo the character without scaling it in Raydream. Then it's onto the joy of joint parameters. (I'm hoping to get by with the prameters from the original character) Thanks, Thorgrim
