add another one to your list.  I get that sometimes with a single sim, if you catch it just as it starts to happen, you can abort the sim and it usually fixes it.  I have a feeling it's something to do with the actor/object that is selected when the sim starts.  I try and make sure I have the main actor and the prop in question selected before I start the sim.

If anyone else knows why this happens please enlighten us as it's a right PITA - and crashes P7 hard when it happens

Hmmm . . . that looks promising.  I think I'll have to have a fiddle when I get home and see what I can come up with.  Isn't it a pain when your lack of skill stops you creating  the image you have in your head ? :$

Phil, you are a veritable god.  That's exactly what I'm after I think.  Now to figure out how to do it and apply it to some dynamic cloth and we are good to go

4. Wet fabric drapes differently. It tends to be both heavier (so it hangs lower), and also stickier. You might try using the cloth room and playing around with the parameters.

Interesting about the white background, I had an email from Alamy the other day and they are actively looking for images on a plain white background.  Depends on the target market I guess.  I tend to use plain white a fair bit (until I get a bunch more flames rendered up that is)

Along the same vein, anyone had any luck with those two figure models for him ? Demonicus and the other one ? I can't seem to get them to load or to apply the textures etc.  Or is that another "wait for part 4" thing ?

yowsers - that's going on my wishlist.  I have a couple of 3Dream hairs and they render really well

I normally have the shadow blur radius set to 9.  Give that a go (I rarely use AO - not figured it out yet :) )
