Well .. my hubby is a big 80's hair metal nut (lol) and one of his favorite bands is Judas Priest. One of the songs he was learning to play on guitar (which took him all of 5 minutes) is titled Living After Midnight .. and since i like giving him random grief about his music .. i told him i was going to form a band called Alive After Midnight that was going to do paradies of 80's rock songs (like insted of "breaking the law" it would be "mowin' the lawn"). I just got so attached to the name that when i decided to build a site .. it was the first thing that came to mind.

Daz has a texture package called "Good As Dead" that might work. So far, its all been too "tame" for my uses. I need bloodier textures.

There's something really ... old school poser about that dress.

How could it be proven, if its so heavily edited? Are there any easily understandable copy-right laws out there concerning the figures & their textures? Seems to me that you need a law degree to make sense of most of the copyrighted materials.

Years ago Poser World use to be free. sigh And yet another site lost in the persuit of the almighty green. lol

I think they (DAZ) is trying to reafirm its place in the market. There are a lot of different sites in competition with them PoserPros & Content Paradise come to mind off hand. But then there are the former brokered artists that have jumped ship and begun to do things on their own. Has anyone else noticed the amount of freebies here slowly beginning to dry out? When I first found Renderosity years ago, I checked back every chance I could because there were more things being added what seemed like every hour. In my favorites folder, I had list upon list of other sites with different freebies then what were shared here. 90% or more of those sites have gone the way of the original Poser characters .. they are no more. Everyone talented enough to be able to build good quality items, has a store. And, as sad as it is to say, so are some of the less then talented modelers as well. I spend a lot of time "window shopping" here in the marketplace and at Daz because I can't cough up the cash for a 25 plus dollar model that I may only use once. Heck, even $7 for that model can be hard to justify. Perhaps the people at DAZ figure more sales + lower prices = higher profit. I can't speak for them, but in the business world - its always about YOUR bottom line. Just a thought.

I never think to look for shadows in mine. Having exceeded my system's limitations already and not having the finances to build a bigger, badder super computer ... I have to simplify. And post working shadows .. I don't even want to think of the hours of torture that would create tryung to get them just right without ruining the image under and around them.

Very good image ... though i'd rather her have normal ears ... but thats just me. You've got the likeness down pat.

P6 has too much junk (like Jessi, James, the kids and the toon characters) Its got a really awesome spot render feature which i love. Still miss some of the more simple things from the Pro Pack - like being able to easily change the materials without going into other "rooms"
