you could also try mapquest.com and look at the aerial view photos, some are wayyyyy outdated, but they are in grayscale which would work well for a terrain...

That sounds like a great contest, and I thought this might me the one to jump in on.... but alas, it would do me not a lick of good...other then the fun... I don't have poser and can't afford it...and all the prizes are supplements for poser it seems.... lol will just wait for the next Bryce one and hope it doesn't require poser for it....LOL Jen

oh yea, I got win 98 and moved up to 6.whatever for IE and I am always having problems...sooo many times, least 5 or 6 times a day, I have the browser not close when I hit close, I have to ctrl+alt+del it to get it to close...and now it seems to be spreading to other applications too...LOL Never had that poser banner appear tho...lol dern pc... lol ok, I'll jump on the wagon finally...lol TONS of great pics....very hard to choose just 3...lol but, here's my shot at trying... mboncher - 3pts. here's maybe a suggestion...lol if it's not being done already that is.... perhaps, have the galleries based on a seperate server from the market and the forums, so browser by's in the galleries don't slow down sales or forums...or vice versa...???

yea, in the middle of working on it someplace, I took out the interior - booleans... so it's a cube with windows...lol When I tried working with the house, there were sooo many objects in that cluster, I decided to use a few less...LOL One thing I do know.... I'm not about to regroup 13 windows again...LOL I'll just have to rebuild the house hahahahah actually, I want to make it like a model house...with an inside and an outside....would love to start making furniture and stuff for it....grins the house model itself, while there's lines everywhere, isn't that big, but the whole scene file got to be pretty big...lol thanks for the help everyone, and thanks Teri, it's kinda like a picture of my dream house...lol Your house came out around the same time, and it looks fabulous..grins Jen

I'm having problems getting it below 30mb....lol I zipped then rar'd then rar'd then zipped...lol smalled I got was like 30.2 mb. All the materials are standard bryce stuff tweaked, so it's not even a matter of including materials....lol it's just the scene file....lots of trees and metaballs, cubes and a few terrains...lol
