Ah! I figured it out. I tried to reset it to factory state and reboot, which didn't work, but when I clicked the factory state buttons again and then hit "set Preferred", it worked. Guy

I am using V3 and some V3 clothing. I didn't get the 1.5 release candidate while it was up, unfortunately, so I'll have to wait for that one. I'll try the Ultimate Breast Magnet pack, though I have not mastered the use of magnets yet. Hopefully this will be user-friendly. Thanks! Guy

Hmm, I get an error message when I tried to use V3. I'll try again sometime. The armor on RDNA's Galactic Princess is the one that's giving me the problems. The breasts poke through, and I'm having trouble adjusting the breast size so that there's cleavage showing without poking through the chest area.

Hmm, I will have to try this out, though I was actually trying to modify a piece of V3 clothing that doesn't conform as well as I need it to. Thanks! Guy
Thread: Poser 4 files in Poser 5 | Forum: Poser Technical
Thanks! After stumbling around for awhile, I finally figured out how to do this. While I easily found the "Add Runtime" option, whenever I navigated to the Poser 4 Runtime folder and clicked on it, all I got in Poser 5 was an empty folder. Whenever I went to a specific library (say, "DAZ People"), I got another empty folder named "DAZ People" or whatever I was trying to add. Finally, when I clicked on "Libraries", I had success; ALL the folders from my Runtime folder were added. This feature alone is worth the price of Poser 5 to me, because it was terribly difficult to keep track of all my folders under Poser 4. After playing around with it all day, I have even found some folders I was missing before. Guy

I also just realized that my second hard drive is formatted as FAT32, not NTFS. I'm converting that over now; maybe that will make a difference. Guy

Yeah, Win2K Professional. I guess I need to get Service Pack 2. Thanks! I should've thought about looking for it at microsoft myself. Guy

Thread: PBooost | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm running PBooost under Win2K and at first everything was fine; I could even switch banks while Poser 4 was running, for a few tries. Then for some reason, it wouldn't do that; I had to exit Poser whenever I wanted to switch banks; inconvenient, but workable. Over the last few days, however, PBoost won't switch banks at all, not even when Poser is not running at all. I got CorrectReference and have been trying it out, but the problem still has not been fixed. I've spent a lot of time sorting out files into different banks, and it'd be a major inconvenience to go back to using Poser without PBooost. Has anybody else encountered this problem and solved it, or developed a workaround? I notice that somebody mentioned in an earlier thread that some configurations of Win2K do work correctly with PBooost; anybody know which ones do so? Thanks, Guy Hoyle

Very strange. I went and checked the quota setting on my computer, and found out that the quota option wasn't even set, so I'm not sure why I was getting that message. Guy

Hi Willy, I'm the only user on this computer, so I guess I'm the admin. Any clues about how much memory/hard disk space I should assign? Or how to actually assign them? I've created 400 meg files with very little problem before (except for taking 20 minutes or so to load), but now I get this message on 60 meg files. Thanks for the response, Guy
Thread: Vehicles? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was looking more for a family-type vehicle, an SUV, a minivan, or a sedan or station wagon. Dudley's got some very neat vehicles, though. Still checking out the ones I snagged on 3D Cafe. Thanks for the replies! Guy

Nice work, especially on the Marilyn; I'm not quite sure I'd recognize the Buffy yet unless I was told it was her, but you're certainly in the ballpark there. I'd be interested in getting that one when it's available (or the old V1/2 version, too). Guy
