Probably there's an easier way but you can try this.
Set the head as IK chain.
Just add "inkyChain" sectionin in cr2 file of your figure (when you open cr2 in editor search for "inkyChain"):
inkyChain Head
{
off
addLink chest:1 <-write the same number as you can see at other chain links
addLink neck:1
goal head:1
linkWeight 0 1
linkWeight 1 0.2
}
and now go to "actor head:" section and add these lines under "useZBuffer" line:
inkyParent BODY:1<-numbers should be the same as you wrote before
nonInkyParent neck:1
Load your figure and switch IK on for the head from Figure -> Use Inverse Kinematic.
The result is nice while you don't apply some extreme poses:)
Thread: Question about saving props. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you for the answers.
I just wanted to be sure if there was a option (inside Poser) but now (after reading your posts) I know (100%) there is not.
Anyway to replace that geometry with a link is not difficult at all but it takes about 1min which you have to SPEND on it :)
Thank you for quick reply.

Don't know what body part it is but lets say it's abdomen.
Open cr2 in editor and find "actor abdomen" (use find function). We are looking for the line starting with such words. The first one will be near the begining of the file (it's not what we want). Find another one (ignore all lines where you see it but it's not at the begining of the line).
Finally you'll se the second line like "actor abdomen". Now below should be something like this;
{
name Abdomen
on
bend ..
....
....
}
Find the last bracket (should be about 200 lines below first one) and just above it you'll see some lines like these;
endPoint...
origin ...
orientation....
displayOrigin...
displayMode <-- this is what we are looking for. Make this line like this: displayMode USEPARENT and save.
If that line was already as USEPARENT then don't know what's wrong.
