Eric, Paul... glad to help. Not all great things have to be complex... :) Look at paper and pencil, very simple, extremely useful. -Rob

You are VERY welcome. I've been waiting to see integration between poser and its utilities, I never thought I'd stumble on it. It may not be the Poser/Bryce plugin, but you can definitely launch Bryce from within Poser now.... :) -Rob

In the .cr2, "storageOffset" needs to read "0 0 0" for each actor in the upper section near the heading and "setGeomHandlerOffset" should read "0 0 0" near the very bottom. -Rob

cal, May 2000 bring you as much joy as your work brings this community. Thank you, for yet...more of your beautiful props. I will have them stored on CD as well, along with all of your others. -Rob
Thread: What are nurbs? | Forum: Carrara
"NURBS, Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines, are mathematical representations of 3-D geometry that can accurately describe any shape from a simple 2-D line, circle, arc, or curve to the most complex 3-D organic free-form surface or solid. Because of their flexibility and accuracy, NURBS models can be used in any process from illustration and animation to manufacturing." http://www.rhino3d.com/ -Rob

Being that I'm in Hawaii... I'm the last on the list to see the rollover. I'm glad none of you have seen any real problems. Have a great one! -Rob

Ed, Thank you for the prop, and for the wishes. My best to you and yours just the same. I personally will have my digital canvas shut down for the rollover because of the the inconsistency in Hawaii's power grid. We get problems with power because of weather... I can only imagine what tommorrow evening may bring. -Rob
Thread: P4 Patch bug... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you Jude, for seeing exactly my point. I wanted see if it was a problem throughout the community before I took up Larry's time. Eric, I've already altered the .cr2. In any case, that wouldn't fix the current problem. The problem is with the geometry and poser not building a new geom .rsr for the figure. Thanks for the suggestion though. nicknoel, thanks for the info. My concern wasn't with wether or not Larry would reply, though I appreciate your assurance. I just want to do some of the trouble-shooting before I forward my findings to Larry, so it makes it less time consuming for him (this way he can continue to fix other functionality problems). -Rob

Jeff, my post is to get collective input. I fully intended in sending the report to Larry, but I want to see if anyone else can confirm my finding before I bother Larry with it. I changed the usemtl statement to reflect the correct name, poser will not build a new .rsr for the figure. -Rob

Thanks Clint... tried the mailing list but they seemed to be too busy crying to answer a legit question. -Rob

Bushi, Thanks for being a mentor to many of us in the ways of poser files. I've never used any of your props, but I studied your methods when I first began to build figures. You have been, without a doubt, a pioneer on the user end of the software... and for that, I thank you. I certainly hope you continue to lead the way, even if it isn't in a "public" capacity. Best of luck in your future endeavors. -Rob

Thread: PAN.WARE SEASONS GREETINGS! (eh..there's a gift too) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nice job PAN! Anyone that hasn't downloaded the snowboard from Zygote and want's the one in PAN's image, should probably go get it NOW. Remember, freebies are only freebies for a week, and today is Wednesday (the day the freebie changes). BTW, though it was only up for a week, the freebie was my way of saying "Merry Christmas" to all in the poser community. :) -Rob
