lol, not into Poser porn but, I have seen poser models for sale so was wondering how the copyright actually worked so If I render an image in Poser it's mine? Not the model it's self? But if I learn how to make cloths and props they are mine? Just not the figure? I do make very small gif cartoons from the images tho. I could never tackle a game, not that advanced as of yet, but I have had some of my friends tell me I'm getting good at Poser. randym77, thanks. ;)

Thread: If I make A Character Do I own The Copyright?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was just wondering not that I expect to get rich of it, I want to use something other than Poser to see if I can create my own and take it to the next level. I like thinking long term. Thanks for your respose. Would I be able to let peole down load it for free off my website? I's an object file right now. How about the images and the artwork made from Posr or other 3D apps? Would it be all non-commerial right? ;)

I'm not here for the votes or for the gallery. I'm here to read the forums and learn as much as possible. I dont do so bad here, I get less views than 90 percent of you guys. the top 20 isn't such a big deal is it? Why is it so important? I have two pics up in my gallery and seem to do all right view wise. Meh. the art is colorful and catches my eyes then I'll comment on it. Maybe if people made more colorful images & artwork youll get more views? You need to make your art different from the rest of the crowd. If all the pics are the same you're gonna go stale very fast. I don't go for perfect art. For me, I like different things, props, items etc when I create a character. (JMHO) ;)

Thread: Figured out a Poser Performance Tip! Speeds it up drastically! (XP) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
oh ok lol I see what you mean. I have a Dell Laptop. with 5gigs heh. I usualy delete some of Posers useless stuff tht I'll never use anyway like some of the geoms & poses & even the props so I don't notice any difference in the load time or the rendering time. Actually when I use Bryce it takes ten times longer for me to render than in Poser. ;)

The geek in me wouldn't recommend for any Poser newbie to do this. I use XP Pro on a laptop with little room to spare and Poser4 fires up just fine. I even had Daz Studio installed at one point and it was never slow on windows. What works for you may not work for others. Windows tends to eatup a lot of resources and any 3D program you install will be a file hog and memory hog. So, I'm not sure how doing what you did made Poser load any faster than normal? Not douting you, just curious why you were slow to begin with? are you working with Poser4 or 5?;)
Thread: WhooHee, go check your Daz Account | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
They give you credits because that's the only way they can sell their products. I tried Daz Studio and thought it stunk. It crashed on me every time I went to install or fire it up but anyway the only product that would be worth that money would be V3 and M3 since it's so widely used with Poser but as far as Daz Studio ever getting off the ground, that remains to be seen. I've had no luck with it myself. I do have an account with Daz though and will wait and see if they improve on Daz Studio before I invest any money into them. I still dont understand the fuss over Vickie3 or Michael3. You need so much that goes with these characters that in the end you're spending all your money on these two products. They sure know how to make a buck though good marketing schemes. What is the big deal over V3? I ratherhave different characters in my mix thats why I prefer the Poser4 characters. but, thats just me. ;)

Thread: How The Heck To Get The Cloths To Stay Conformed To The Figure? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
ok thanks I know what that is now, will try it. I've been using morph more and more to get the cloths just right. The models I have used the most are: Eve, and the P4 models. Wish I could upgrade to Poser5 but unable to at the momement. I've been practicing a lot with the nude models they tend to conform to the cloths better than the special characters. ;)

Feel like a 39 year old cry baby writing this. Robo: Im in my early 40's doing this stuff. LOL. You are an excellent artist. Don't let anyone tell you differently. Rendering takes two minutes, it's creating the charcter that takes hours to learn and make, that's the hard part. This is a very large community and lots and lots of artists come here for one reason or another to showcase their work. Like I said, do't sweat it. With a large community such this people don't always have the time to offer their comments on others artwork. ;)

When I load the character I think the settings are on zero by default. I discovered that trick after. How do u turn off the IK in Poser4?

I hardly ever use the gallery. You're getting lots of views tho. Don't sweat it. I just peaked at your gallery and wish I could be as tallented as that! It will happen, just give it time. I made one model so far an still working on others. 3D is the best art there is no matter how you make it. ;)

Don't try to change the color of the face with the 'fill bucket' that will ruin the skin texture. Or, it simply might not be compatible with Don. The faceroom skin does it have a material edit feature seperate from a fill? A fill paint bucket (if tha's what Poser5 uses) in any paint program will change the entire color of the figure if you fill it in.

Don't feel bad that's why I rarely bother with the gallery on here. I broke down and put one pic up and prob won't put too much up on my gallery. I'm still rather new here and I prefer live animation motion myself rather than rendering. I mainly stick to making character models and sometimes animation shorts. I hear what your saying tho. Give it time, start posting in other foums, say hello to people and you'll get more views. Just because you give an excellent rating to someone doesn't always mean they'll return the favor. ;)

You didnt click on the 'texture change to fit the entire figure' did you? Are you in Poser4 or Poser5? If in Poser4 unclick the 'texture change' in the little box if Poser5 I'm not sure of the features of 5. sorry couldnt be of more help. Ive had that happen once to my figures and discovered that little box where to check and uncheck you might have to redo your skin colors in the editfeature to correct it. providing poser5 has the same functions as 4. are you in Poser or Daz Studio? What app are you working with? ;)
