Unfortunately you are limited to the max resolution of the main window. I've complained to CL about this. Maybe they'll fix this in Poser5.

Try batchgen. It will make rendering lengthy animations much easier. BatchGen - the batch script creator for Poser. BatchGen creates Python scripts that can be used to render multiple Poser files automatically. I understand that (I do write software for a living). Do you work there? How do you know it will be much improved? Are you just going by what they've promised or do you have some actuall insider info?

Whatever. They need to improve the rendering engine and forget about the renderman compliance. My point was most people don't care about this.

I think it would be nice if they could release more details and at least tell us what quarter they're shooting for. I am tired of having to use the plugin to render in another app.

To create mocap you need to go to a studio or buy the equipment yourself. If you just want to make animation files in the bvh format you can do that in Poser. There's nothing magical about the bvh format other than it being cross-platform.

I agree with Lovely Lady about the subscription sites. There still selling a product (a subscription). Although I think their work looks good, it seems a little unfair to Renderosity merchants. I can live with it, but it seems unbalanced to me. -Mark
